”Freedom, in a political context, means freedom from government coercion. It does not mean freedom from the landlord, or freedom from the employer, or freedom from the laws of nature which do not provide men with automatic prosperity. It means freedom from the coercive power of the state—and nothing else.”

That would be awesome but the value is too high and I don’t want to cut such beautiful coins into pieces. Silver would be lower value but probably still much too high value.

It’s time for piggy banks for the kids, but we don’t really have many coins laying around. And it’d be stupid to use fiat current for storing value. So I’m considering alternatives. Something small with intrinsic value, low but lasting value. Basically a coin in the old days. #money

At least you’d get rid of arbitrary denials of license applications but I’m convinced registration leads to confiscation in the end. It wouldn’t be of much use anyway — where guns are ”controlled”, criminals use unregistered black market guns.

Elderly woman baked bread and sold to her Facebook acquaintances. She wouldn’t/couldn’t pay the fines so now she’s going to prison. A good example of how every law is enforced by the threat of violence and death. Bake and sell bread to willing buyers without involving government agencies? Pay fines. Resist fines? Go to prison. Resist prison? You will be shot if you actually resist well enough. #statism https://www.tv4.se/artikel/3anLWZmaEgzUArB3OemOED/aeldre-kvinna-salde-broed-och-bullar-pa-sociala-medier-far-faengelse

For your ideas and thoughts to spread further and for the muted one to be exposed to new ideas and thoughts. The only thing extra a block accomplishes, is the blocked one is getting an echo chamber built for them involuntarily by others, unless I’m missing some other distinction between blocking and muting.

Don’t you think this is preferable in most cases? Blocking means, not only that you won’t have to see the blocked one, but also that they won’t see your viewpoints and ideas. If you mute them for being annoying or whatever, you could still influence them without knowing they exist.
