Let people scan their LNbits wallet QR, which is an URL containing their keys. Use those keys with their standard APIs to allow in-app payments. LNbits also has support for lndhub, so you can use those APIs to connect to the wallet/account as well. One benefit of that is can work as a wrapper over your own non custodial LND, c-lightning etc node or over custodial solutions like lntxbot

Even if you are using a signing extension like Alby, decrypting private messages on a web client is not safe. Once decrypted, the message can be read by the client and sent somewhere you wouldn't want private messages to go

Identity. A Github over nostr means, I follow git repos based on their public keys. I can also raise PRs and participate in discussions frictionlessly. Even self hosted git repos can get banned by the hosting provider.
