Elective surgery at 80 should not be covered by Medicare.
Doctors would likely be more wary of the downsides if it wasn't an insurance boon.
Recovery for an 80 year old is brutal to witness.

Pretty sick, can't read the spec yet. Does it allow for any metadata sent to the recipient as well, or does it simply result in a standard bolt11 invoice?

When I press my doorbell a certain way, it identifies my face and unlocks my door.

Are you ready for bitcoin to be mainstream anon? Are you ready for it to fade into the background of every day life?
How much do you think about bitcoin right now? How much of your identity is bitcoin?
Enjoy this phase as much as you can, there will come a time in which there will no longer be this undercurrent of energy in the movement.
The instant connection you feel when meeting another bitcoiner will fade. The connections will no longer be made this way, the connections won't be as strong.
Prepare your mental state for numbing feeling in the future. The stakes won't feel as high, actions won't feel as important. It will come fast and it will happen as adoption happens. Make your connections now, they will last.
For now anon, it's nice to be by your side. Lets enjoy this fantastic and awful moment in time with a defined gut-felt purpose.
#bitcoin there is no alternative.
