Over the past few months I've seen an increasing number of personal attacks levied against well-intentioned unpaid and under-paid community leaders in the Fediverse, in what seems to be an increasing cycle of anger and harassment.
Motivation aside, personal attacks and causing harm to others is unacceptable. I'd like to see what we can collectively do to calm the waters.

Some of you know I have been working on non-profit funding to create an organisation ("IFTAS") to support moderators and admins. This is a non-profit entity that employs moderators and advisors to improve the tools and policies we have access to, and to present a strong voice to platform developers describing the tools and features needed to conduct the work.

#[0] is there a contemporary suite or set of plays-nice #[1] community / collaboration tools that can cover discussion (threaded boards), chat, and wiki-like that can share credentials and/or work from a single auth provider, either one of the three or an external auth source? Paid/managed preferred. #[2] aware preferred.
I'm tempted to consider a Wordpress kludge extraordinaire, but hoping for some hands-on experience with similar community groups.

"Users" dehumanises, alienates, and allows for a particular brand of technospeak that smacks of addicted eyeballs and lost privacy.
I am a member of the community, not a user of software. Please try to reduce, ahem, using the word.
