@nprofile…udc0 I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with your parent’s provider. We were lucky to have a fantastic (but extremely expensive) facility very close to my sister. And dad bought long term care insurance for both of them to pay for it.
They went into the home last year after dad couldn’t stay in the house anymore. The staff was wonderful and seem to really care about the residents. When I visit they know me by name. When dad died last month (not their fault)…

People used to talk about how nice the cast and crew were. They shot all summer and hung out in town. They had meals together in one of the big halls. All the waitresses got to serve Newman’s table at least once, so they all got a $100 tip (which was a month’s rent back then).

The old houses have gas heat, the new houses were all electric (resistive baseboards). The gas company didn’t even run lines. Today the newer houses all have propane tanks in the yard, despite being built as a higher end development.

Colorado has no national borders, yet the federal government has not done its job preventing hoards of illegals into my country. The Democratic Party in Denver is happy to cover up the federal mess because they're "party before people" types, but that's not the issue here
