@npub1qvx…hseu ive been having multiple shows, while listening live, at home on wifi, buffering a lot, for possibly a few months now. Then ill go to a different place to stream the live, like their website, or a different 2.0 app, and it will be fine. Just wondering if there could be anything going on? The podcasts that do this for me are Chad And Reeds Podcast, Bowl after Bowl, and Podcasting 2.0. Any other guru users notice this or?

sam have you ever even just for the sake of truth and no alternitive motive looked at the insane gigantic amounts of archeology from the bible? like uh the mainstream def doesn't want anyone to do that! people have tried to do what you say. there is a reason the bible is still around #seektruth

This rss based music player/site @npub1e88…nva7 made for us is so cool! I just manually added this to it with the dashboard he made me. Here are some Doerfelized cover songs if anyone wants some tunes they will recognize. Only in the #doerfelverse

@npub1qvx…hseu ive been thinking this for a long time and wanted to mention it. I always wished the art was bigger in guru. Just use some of that space between the name of ep, the time left in ep, and play/payse skip buttons, bring those closer together then art could be bigger. All good, just an item in my podcast guru wish list, nothing important lol

I'm all for doing whatever makes it easier for the apps to know the correct order :)

2025-12-16 21:46:42 GMT

- reply

yes it all depends on the purpose of the feed. If an artist and they are going to put all their singles there we want people subscribed to get notified when new song is added. Hence the order would be just like a podcast. But If it's an album or EP we are going to want them in the appropriate order for that. The top being the first track and so forth. @npub1z6g…amwj app and @npub1qvx…hseu have nifty up down arrows allow you to swap between the two orders work great

i dont even know how any of the tracks would have a season number LOL i use @npub18a6…pny4 s SoverignFeeds and i put them in order through that. There was a time when the order was getting messed up but i think its straightened out now. and dont recall any spot for a season in SF.

yes publiaher tag. I'm working on this for Doerfels. from what I've heard this is how Fountain does it so they can browse by artists. It works for wavlake feeds right now, but I think us self hosted artists need to get rocking the publisher tag so apps like y'all can use it for this exact reason

I've felt strongly about musicians/artists having a single feed to release the majority of new songs in. That way people who might discover you and enjoy your music can subscribe and get a notification whenever there's a new song.
However there is hardly anybody doing this. Off the top of my head I can only think of us, Jimmy V, and HeyCitizen. For anyone out there, do you subscribe to a musicians music feed and enjoy getting the occasional notification when there's a new song?
Thoughts?

Observation: I can manuely add a feeds URL to guru, and send test boosts and everything works as it should, without it being known to the index. I do this sometimes to double check I didn't make any mistakes. But I do same thing with fountain and none of the boosting works, it's all in the feed though so why wouldnt boosting still work?

yeah i was wondering about your splits in all our many feeds

2024-12-06 19:52:35 GMT

I'm somewhat unsure what is being talked about. I like that my podcast app doesn't shove a bunch of algo made or worse yet, paid for ads of content in my face. I get what I want. What I subscribe to. No other junk. podroll is perfect, cuz it's not shoving stuff in my face like Spotify, YouTube etc. but i can easily see other content related to something I like cuz of podroll. A discovery page is cool, but as long as the app isn't centered around it.

bought this little b-link for $160 https://a.co/d/cnF6Per put start9 on it with no problems, I use helipad, albyhub and love it. Works great. Got all my brothers albys and a couple friends switched to my node too. So far I love it. It just stays on 24/7. For an artist or podcast trying to do v4v building a node is the way!

2024-11-17 04:39:08 GMT

- reply

I like having a node, Albyhub, and recommend it. I've not had to mess with it much, start9 and the blink you recommended just works, and that's good cuz I've had no time to play with it. Dono how I feel about making another node to store other people's sats, but will think on it.

2024-11-17 04:29:39 GMT

- reply

other than not understanding how to make everything go to the specific wallets at first. everything was just dumping into my node without splitting to right brothers wallets, cuz I didn't have 696969 and then their special number, cuz I thought it still just used they Alby address somehow. But I think I got that figured out now. Still got a lot of older feeds to update tho, but I'll get to it, eventually.

2024-11-17 03:56:57 GMT

- reply

I prolly have like 25+ feeds to update uhhhhg..dono if ill even get to it for a while. and then some of our co-writers got Alby wallets, now I have to tell them, hey that wallets gonna shut down? Bleh. It feels like V4v music has hit a wall. Will it break through? I guess we shall see

Maybe it said in an email but I don't remember there being a deadline

2024-10-15 04:08:50 GMT

- reply

yea thats what i gathered, and i transferred them over, but then im still getting sats i guess to albys node mb cuz it keeps slowly filling up. perhaps from old tracks cuz they are still routed the old way. mb i need to go through everything i have been putting up for the last year. you said it needs to be my public key, 696969. but when i click on each wallet they have their own public key. do i use that? or mine. do i use their alby address. or just the public keys they have

2024-10-15 03:42:05 GMT

- reply

thanks eric, any and all info is great! i dont really know what my question even is exactly other than just trying to make sure im understanding whats happening, and i guess main thing is keep everything working for the splits. do you know why i have to transfer sats from my alby to my connected wallet still? shouldnt it just use my node now?

2024-10-15 02:03:26 GMT

So I got Albyhub on my start9. I got my brothers to link their accounts to my albyhub on my node. We transferred their sats to linked wallet. Now how does this work? I notice sats build up in my alby and i have to transfer to my wallet/node. im guessing this is happening for my brothers also. is this how it will always work? is it how its supposed to work? i noticed each of my brothers wallets have a pub key. Should i be using that instead of their alby addresses? @npub1ckf…xct2

it also makes things more complicated with the co-writers, we have a bunch with alby wallets

2024-08-25 16:17:18 GMT

What is happening with Alby exactly? I'm a little unsure, i just know it's changing. Will the wallets already in use in all the tracks that we have splits set up for continue to work or will that all go away and stop working at some point? i want to know if i have to go back and take out all the alby addresses which I'd love to not have to do
