Yeah but it's something with previous proof of provided makes the most sense. If I didn't have them talking with llost about some honeypot instance then it would just be a guess, but llost did say they wanted to collect user information and sniffing passwords would be that.

With sharkey at least she would have 10 attempts per hour and on akkoma I wanna say 100 per some default thing in 5 min, but it would be in admin-fe. Why would it just affect cunny.beauty users if it was truly "random" when there is a simpler explanation and it just affected puppyspace bc one user used the same password.
Kind of like how the ipgrabber only affects rape.pet and cunny.beauty users.

I wonder how she got the password in the first place though. Akkoma ratelimits login so even a fairly short password would take a while to bruteforce...seems impractical.
Hmm, I guess the tls would encrypt it and then it goes to nginx so it would be encrypted at that point. I wonder who could sniff the password at that point ^^

I have always let you defend yourself. I posted the screenshots and my timeline of events for both you and choccy. I gave my interpretation of the messages. This was after you both made this very public.
I have also talked to both you and choccy *prior* to me telling anyone about them and I felt lied to so I defedded. I mad it clear the first time I suspended federation it was just due to llost having an account then I renabled it when they left. I always would give you a chance to respond to anything I say and point out the weaknesses of my evidence.

I do have that actually, but you guys keep making threads about me and stuff so I respond obviously. I don't see why I wouldn't be allowed to tell my side of the story to any of these accusations and you guys make wild accusations constantly against me constantly.
It's also weird to take Wilma at face value given everything the last two days, but I get you guys don't like me lol. I don't have accounts on most pedi instances either and I only use this one occasionally.
It's fine if you want to believe Wilma, but my messages to her weren't really long. I just sent her the kiwifarms thread and noted that the archive from it was a long time ago and I believe someone on pedi must have helped with it. I then showed her the screenshots of Choccy talking to llost and said that I believed the one account was either llost or choccy. Notes, I didn't make this accusation publicly. We talked about who would have leaked this information and I joined a group chat with her one anti friend bc I wanted to see if he knew anything about the thread.
I didn't know that cunny.beauty went down until way after other people and I saw Ulith saying that Wilma and I did it. I was confused so I messaged Ulith and we talked for a while then I switched back to Wilma. I used an alt account with her bc she was on a fascist homeserver that I don't want to have the meta-data of my main matrix accounts, which I was invited to this group chat she is in with Choccy and a bunch of other people so that was pointless.
And I did the mass delete in matrix because I don't want a bunch of screenshots of me theorizing who the kiwifarms user is out there among other things. I don't know why she would include me into scheme, but she had plenty of time to screenshot the posts of me saying what she alleges, but didn't.
Even if her story is true, why not just screenshot when she told Choccy and whoever? Why wait until after I deleted to screenshot? I talked with Ulith for a while and I didn't exactly rush to delete the messages. I just did it when I decided that Wilma was doing aimless trolling and I didn't want a load of my screenshots to end up in some right-wing group chat.
You don't really have to take my word for it though. Let's see what the registry says tomorrow and if they can provide information on what/how it was reported. I haven't used my cunny.beauty account since I defedded them from my instance and I always used the tor browser so it will be obvious from my active tokens in the database.

I mean that's good, but my thing is my discussion with "Lily" was fairly positive and my discussion with Varlus she made it seem like she didn't consider it a big deal (even asked me to defend myself and say why it shouldn't be done iirc). The whole thing is weird to me.

Llost on cunny.beauty (caused me to suspend federation the reverse it when they left then they came back iirc) and Varlus/Lily/whatever. I consider leaking my selfie and wanting to "identify" me as steps to dox myself and given their justification I wouldn't be surprise if this is normal for them. And given the general reaction, it wouldn't surprise me if this is just how pedi used to be.

It's not about moderation, it's about values. I obviously can't fully express how I feel about certain events, but if someone stood outside and screamed that someone was selling drugs and I witnessed him being brutally beaten I wouldn't mind at all.

Another way to view this:
Our value are incompatible. Snitching, dry snitching, retributivist/vigilante justice, and telling "authorities" anything is so beyond the pale to me that if this was irl I would want the person stabbed.
I don't value "free speech" in-of-itself nor do I think it's cool to "not block people". Our values are incompatible.

If the roles were reversed:

2.) someone goes on this weird fed rant accusing ulith of something illegal -> ban
I'm not even saying I am perfect, but just some of the things I have witnessed gives me the vibes they allow certain people on to do some sort of "dirty work". And I personally do not want it to be against me or people I like.

I mean the Varlus/Lily/Bloop thing still suses me out. Then the one person that went on a rant accusing me of illegal things and it's just accepted that people can do that. Then there was some weird discord chat logs that trying to chat with someone about just made me feel even more suspicious. It just seems like they want *someone* to report us and for *me* and others to be "brought to justice".

I have pretty clear criteria for defedding people/instances and I give it a while and try to work things out with people. The rape.pet defed was based on something that happened in August and I talked with a ton of people, including you, over the course of months and then additional things happened.
Not even a huge deal because as you just indicated, it's not like you guys even like it.

It's why I don't take pedi seriously. Screaming about having certain values and never acting those values are is annoying.

Well I don't personally care if you as an individual said it 3 years ago or a day ago, but I do care that it's thrown about and when users say it makes them uncomfortable then *everyone* turns a blind eye to it.
This is also what confuses me about labeling some instances as "nazi" instances when it is so normalize for people use these slurs. Sure, childlove.top (I don't federate with) allows it under the guise of free speech, but so does rape.pet (I don't federate with).
This is just a single example, but there is systematically an issue where people who claim to hold "X or Y principal" seem extremely selective in applying them. Fine if this is just purely social media, but when people are claiming to be "activists" or the "true pedi" it just comes across as silly.
