Last Notes npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson Derek is lucky I’m a nice person, but if I reset his OnStar account password I wonder if I could remote start his truck until it runs out of gas, or lock him out of it, or flag it as stolen. npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson Finally got around to watching the new Mission: Impossible. I love Captain Milkshake. Tramell Tillman’s demeanor and collected way of speaking are so good for that role. If I was on a submarine he’s just the kind of person I would want in charge. npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson I asked ChatGPT to imagine a G4 Cube that took design cues from Be. Not exactly what I had in mind, but I do like it. I’d have been all over this in the early 2000s. npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson Starting in January 2026, #Gmail will stop fetching mail from other accounts via POP. So if you're currently using it to keep tabs on some legacy account on Yahoo! or Comcast or whatever, you'll have to do something else, like forward it or set add it to a native mail client. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/16604719?hl=en npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson https://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/115/166/714/775/259/158/original/79f769742a256461.jpeg npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson @nprofile…3vva We get a lot of DocuSign phishing—originating from DocuSign servers but triggered by a bad actor. Either as a bundle or individually half off. I personally love CleanShot X. I already own two licenses—one for my home computer and one to use at work. Even if your state is a sure thing. Even if it seems like your state is a lost cause. Trump and his allies are going to pull every trick imaginable to overturn a Harris/Walz win. The bigger the win, the harder it will be for them to steal, and the worse the optics will be when they try. 🗳️ npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson @npub1svs…p66u I dunno exactly what Apple Intelligence features are (will be) exposed to developers via API, but if it’s even possible I’d love the ability to generate image descriptions / alt text when composing a toot. npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson @npub1jv5…e22d Mist have been something in my data/settingd. But many people still operate as if we’re in the “What’s a computer?” timeline, where iPad is the lifeboat they have to scramble to as the Mac sinks. npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson @npub1xsy…cevg npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson @npub1xsy…cevg https://youtu.be/6XZ2lv-WUp4?si=6x_QihhlT6ueGiEM npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson @npub13le…6saf Mmm 😋 npub1ngxcw8h06m8swmgfty3lh5ueqwqyvs6uz5hxp7zx58gdmav9jmksnavrfp David Nelson @npub13le…6saf Cool idea though. When I finally notice that I skipped several hours, I have to go back and find the gap so I can tap the button and load the rest. I’m not sure a good way to avoid that other than automatically loading everything in the gap. Obviously there may be rate limits. Maybe it could keep fetching more, but stop filling that gap if it reaches 1,000 posts?
