German rentals don't include an outfitted kitchen in the rent. You have to buy it separate as your own property. Sort of like when someone bundles a car as part of their home sale, but sillier.

Employing illegals almost always involves other crimes. Identity theft, tax fraud, paying below minimum wage, etc. It's going to be a very difficult burden to prove there wasn't probable cause, it's a low standard that a single anonymous tip can overcome. Once there is justification to be there it doesn't really matter what the initial justification was if other illegal activity can be proven as a result.

They don't need a warrant if they have a reasonable expectation of illegal activity. If they know someone is being employed illegally that's sufficient to enter the place of employment.
