Or you *are* bothered by it, but you don't believe those publicly held stances are going to affect the way he moderates for you?
Moving on, we see that he has a history of censoring information regarding LGBT people in the communities he does moderate. That history is publicly visible. What should we think about that?

For example, Carrotcypher exhibits a pattern of condemning and attacking news sources to the left of Fox News, and always in a way that favors things like the deportation of Mahmoud Khalil and many others.

I noticed a #fosstodon moderator with a history of poor behavior - open bigotry, censorship, even trolling - and contacted instance creators Kev and Mike about it. I also got ignored - no meeting halfway either.

@nprofile…g0z2 @nprofile…addp it's relatively easy to track Mozilla's history into abandoning privacy in a ship-of-theseus kind of way.
In 2017, they received pushback for enabling telemetry by default, for the first time ever. Today, that telemetry includes sending advertisement data to advertisers.

@nprofile…up4r awesome blog! I found it while looking up info on Standard Notes (which I've run myself for a while) and found it remarkably insightful. I don't love them, but definitely can see why you'd like them more than Notesnook.
(Next up... Joplin? Obsidian with Syncthing? A magnet and a steady hand?)
