The feeling when you're friend is 2600 miles away feeling ill, and you just want to make them soup or something.
It's times like these where online friendships reveal their limitations.

At first I thought they were Akitas, but they look like Akitas only smaller. Then I saw a website that said "What's the difference between an Akita and a Shiba Inu" so that's how I remembered there was a breed that looks like Akitas...and.....I'm rambling again...😅

Passed two Shiba Inus walking beside their owners on my walk. They must have been so well trained they weren't even on a leash.

Well, I deleted my Bluesky account several months ago. But now someone was saying there's been scraping on Mastodon and someone could create a bot and impersonate me there if I don't lock the namespace. So I went back and got my name again.
Gross. My content is not all that, but I don't want ppl to think it's me over there and it's not.

I agreed to attend a hockey game with our son, but he failed to tell me it was "Canal Mule" night in honor of the Erie Canal. So after every goal there's a really loud "HEE HAWW"

Well...Put on my hat, parka, fleece neck warmer, and braved the 28°f (-2 C) wind chill to walk outside. Nose dripping.
I could have done the treadmill indoors, but maybe I felt a bit stubborn or something. Maybe I wanted to feel a bit more alive.
Saw one doggo.

It's good to be home from a short trip.
I like my home and my things around me. Not fancy things. Just familiar things.
I may be boring. I don't care. Don't call me boring though, I can say it. Not you.

The act of letting go.
Letting go often portrayed as becoming weak and being unable to hold on any longer. But what if you're holding onto something that no longer serves you?

I already have lived in a house where someone died. But never felt a presence.
Also, I don't know if I can see people's auras, but I have definitely seen a person and knew it would not be a good interaction, and I was usually right.
