Alright!
I did it & it was surprisingly easy. I replaced my gaming PC and booted start9 on it. I threw in a 10TB WD Purple and started syncing BitcoinCore. My goal to become my own bank is coming to fruition. Stoked!

Whenever I owe someone, I offer to pay them back in Bitcoin over the Lightning Network (via CashApp). Some hold it, some sell it immediately. Either way, I always remind them - If you believe the U.S. will keep printing dollars and devaluing paper money, this small repayment could be worth much more later!
I am proud of my friends who hold it though!
