Hi @nprofile…3u86 , what's your opinion on magnetic excursions and geomagnetic pole shift? The data seems to pretty strong in a probabilistic favor of an event in the next 20 years. A massiv Solar flare looks like a given but pole shift I'm not that sure about! Would love to hear your thoughts. Thx

Its way easier to make the switch. Cant imagine to move back and miss that much freedom of choice and possibilities that are offered with grapheneOS. Start with two phones makes it simple to compare and see the advantages. Be open and you find ways and solutions you didnt know there were there.

Also to much people that plan, dont follow through their plan or don't start at all! And adjusting a commited plan on new information and admit you were wrong is the extremely hard for most.

What i saw, the adoption over the whole country in general is still quite low. Blink Wallet is used a lot. I can't see someone living on a bitcoin standard unless you are in Berlin or at the Coast. But People start "saving" which means for a few days or weeks to make living a not better. That is a positive development which could be held down longer if you are right. Hope we see more education for the people and that will trigger the adoption.

A most likely problem will be the education level in decades to come. If 95% of users don't understand the system, core values or incentives their whole world is build around, then they won't care to contribute to decentralization, privacy or freedom!

If i remember right the idea is a thousand of years old „debt system“ based on culture and social consensus with various kinds of transacting objects. Dont know why but after all i didnt fully believe the whole story as we should be always a bit suspicious with history aspecialy the old history.
