Question for anyone with gluten issues. Did you/can you start getting issues much later in life, and does it/can it feel like a horrid burn in your colon, stomach or throat? Not sure that's what it is, but trying to narrow down possibilities after searching burning. :( #GlutenAllergy #Gluten

I am keeping my fingers crossed. I was in the Oakland Hills fire, we were at the top of the hill and drove out through flames, so know how it can be. :(
Also I am SO impressed with what your husband did. I watch YouTubes of those fire fighting tankers with my mouth agape and with the adrenaline of a five year old.

LOL. From the sublime to the ridiculous! Yesterday was the wedding party and I got all dolled up Bollywood Glam. :) Kajal and everything. LOVED the make up and hair artist I picked. And today prepping for the tandoori party tomorrow. Our guy who was supposed to power wash our patio was a no show, so I did it. Hubby didn't flinch when I came indoors. I had hosed myself down, but my face was COVERED in mud splatters. Think Pig Pen from Charlie Brown.

He's having fun learning coding and electronics and whatnot too. As he said he always had teams to "make it so" for him, and now he wants to learn how to do it himself. :) So our thing is to always challenge ourselves to mix and match materials and maker tools and learn new things. We love brainstorming together.

We have converted a ton of our home into a private maker space. We have CNC machine (upgraded does 4' x 4' 0_0 and is being installed as we speak) Resin and filament 3D printers. The C02 laser (P3, we are giving away our glowforge) and Fiber MOPA laser. On our wish list is a UV laser. :) Plus a UV printer (we haven't used yet, as the ink needs to be cleaned, so waiting till we have big project for it) and photo printer (can print up to 13 x 19 posters) and we are insane. Yes. We know. :)

We LOVE our glowforge, but have recently upgraded to an xtool P3. This thing is a BEASTMONSTER. It's so much more precise too. BUT. Massive. We hired a bodybuilder to help us get it onto the rolly cart/tablethingie that comes with it. Did I mention that it is huge!!! :)

LOL. I keep about 4 jars of hubby's fave Bubbie's bread and butter pickles in our pantry at all times.
Funny tangent is the time I was looking to order them online and could only find an Instacart source. I ordered ten jars. That didn't quite hit their minimum so I added a packet of Imodium to the shopping list. I still crack myself up thinking about that shopper's face when they saw the list. 10 x pickles. 1 x Imodium.

Good grief. I have just read about another anti-science cult. That of “free birth” which means no medical or trained people around. And of course multiple tragedies have occurred. No. Platforms that encourage this dangerous information online with payments should be held liable. #Influencer #WildBirth #FreeBirth

Recommending the 2022 TV series, Sherwood Season 1. It's a murder with a mystery, set in a small town, but so much more. The residents, decades later, still divided by the 1980s miners' strike and hard feelings lurk under the surface. The cast is excellent and it's well written. I was left thinking about human beings and livelihoods and how people muddle (or don't) through change. I'm a terrible reviewer. Not doing it justice. We saw it on Britbox. #TVSeries

Just cannot get over all that cheap and tawdry gold, slathered on over everything, in background photos of the man playing dress up president with world leaders in the White House. And Trump hasn’t the first clue how lacking in class he comes across. He will never be respected as an equal. That must really rankle him. To know that even with the title of POTUS the elites, whose respect he craves, will always look down their noses at him.

Really so annoyed with Microsoft turning my machine into a SLUG and having to reset settings after big updates. And was looking at replacements for Office, testing one as we speak. And was even considering switching fully over to Linux, but researching for example, the financial software, etc. that I use is complicated to set up and I'm trying to simplify things I need to manage into my dotage. Gah. Yes, I know I can use web based, etc. But I prefer offline. #Microsoft

I'm a little disappointed. I am enjoying it for what it is, but I had a VERY rich and extremely sarcastic version of Murderbot in my imagination. And I enjoyed all the planning in its head. And it also makes me crazy that the episodes are so short!!! But I'm enjoying seeing some of the worlds through someone else's eyes. But yes, it's the books for me.

Hubby hasn't read the Murderbot Diaries (it's not his genre) but he's heard enough about it from me, and he's watched the three released TV episodes of course. So yesterday, when he found me standing completely still and utterly zoned out in the kitchen (I was lost in a deep deep thought) he commented that I looked just like Murderbot.<g> #Murderbot

And your alt description was poetry. I almost missed the almost ghostly figure with the umbrella too!

And the ridiculous thing about all of this, but par for the short-term myopic thinking of the Republicans, is that this is going to COST the US money in prevention, and inventions and cures and future growth. It's so stunningly stupid. :( #RepublicanIrresponsibility #USPol #Science #LunaticsRunningTheAsylum

Oooh. Those are not fun. Hopefully you are back to normal soon. Spasms (if that's what you have) can be BRUTAL. :( I ended up getting muscle relaxers the last time I threw my back out.
