Absolutely! We have scandals regarding our "royal" family from time to time in Sweden, and there's so much discussion around what they should and shouldn't do meanwhile we wouldn't have this problem if we didn't pretend some people were more worth because of their family. It's actually shameful we still have a "king" imo.

Back on Guix again, and without using Nix packages. Nonguix Steam actually works really well, and the performance is much better than the Nix package, and especially better than Gentoo. That last one is probably my fault though, but I can't figure out why tbh.
Switching back was just a matter of doing the guix system reconfigure on my Gentoo system, removing some conflicting files and then reconfiguring again to make sure I only had the Guix managed configs/packages. Finding what the conflicts were was a matter of running the system activate script, removing the files it complains about, and rerunning it, rinse and repeat until it doesn't complain. Same thing with the home environment, but looking at the Guix home service log instead.

All correct here except for -gamy, which comes from Greek gamos (γαμος) meaning marriage. You were probably thinking of -gyny, as in polygyny, contrasted with polyandry, which comes from Greek gyne (γυνη) meaning woman.
(This might be super nerdy but I love Greek and couldn't help myself :ablobcatheartsqueeze:)

Zen is a Free Software browser which I use and know at least has support for workspaces. When it comes to Speed Dial, I don't remember exactly what that was, but maybe essentials in Zen could replace it for you?

Thinking of stopping my use of Spotify. There is a lot that they do which I just cannot stand. I do have a small local collection of some of my favorite music.
If any of you are willing to share, how much do you generally spend on music each month, and how do you find new artists? I really wanna support the artists whose work I enjoy, but I also know that it will cost quite a bit more, so I'll have to budget accordingly.

Latin and Ancient Greek. I tried to get into a tech education but the one I got into (not my preferred) gave me techbro vibes, so instead of accepting that I tried to get into Ancient Greek and French last minute, got accepted into both courses, and after my Greek course ended I started Latin as well.
Also, Sanskrit seems like a really cool language. I'd love to learn it as well.

Genuine question; what's bad about it? I do most things via the terminal, but it's always served me well as a graphical file manager, but I'm no power user when it comes to those.
