Last Notes npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…g5t3 Oef, pijnlijk is dat altijd. npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas My friend Gert, who is an avid quilter, is showing some of his work at the Bartholomeus Gasthuis in Utrecht, together with Maria, his former boss from when he worked in a quilt fabric store. We went to the opening, and after cutting the ribbon, Gert showed every quilt to us and explained some things about the fabric and techniques used, but also what he wanted to express with that quilt. npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…g5t3 Een beetje overkill maar als je toch zo'n ding hebt... npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas This is what software engineers mean when they talk about "technical debt". npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…g5t3 Tante Nel, een oud-tante van mijn partner, was nooit getrouwd geweest en had ook geen kinderen. Ze was in de 80 en goed bij de tijd, deed computer-cursussen enzo. Ik kon het altijd prima met haar vinden! npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…52tz When we were packing for our house move, our CDs and DVDs that we had squirreled away in a dark corner of the attic, re-surfaced. We made a conscious decision to be intentional about our music listening: no longer endless un-curated streams, but CDs (and LPs!) that we choose. npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas I love getting an "anonymous" survey at work, where the questions ("What is your function title?" and "In what workstream do you work?") precisely pinpoint the group of 3 people I am a part of... npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…xg5d Ik zou de server rules van de instantie eens aan een grondige inspectie onderwerpen -- blijkt daar uit dat ze bereid zijn om de veiligheid van gemarginaliseerde groepen te stellen boven het comfort van mensen met privilege? npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…7mvn Seems to coincide with tomato versus potato Europe: npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…zx3a @nprofile…58gl Does it have a browser functionality? npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…zx3a Is nr 3 a capybara stamp!? Met streaming was het toch meer audio-behang, nu luisteren we meer. npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…ylnm Mastodon werkt nog, meer heb ik eigenlijk niet nodig :capyhydrate: npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…8j6p Wat is het bereik van die repeaters? npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…ly3k SaaS: Stalking as a Service npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas It was during lockdown, right after the release, and we spent so much time in the evenings just playing ACNH. There was an "exploit" (long since patched), where you could go to a Nook Miles island and remove all the flowers and trees. Then the only bugs that could spawn were wharf roaches and tarantulas. Especially tarantulas fetched a high price. Paid off a good chunk of what I owed Tom Nook that way! npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…sczv Such a pity -- this could have been turned into an amazingly cool housing co-op. npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas Relaxing in her fluffy basket, as if I didn't have to chase her off the kitchen countertop this noon just as she was about to lick the mayonnaise off my salad npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…7v9l When I talked about this with a physical therapist, they mentioned that "fixating" your head is an important skill to be able to keep it up for a longer time. I guess I can do that at 1,5 because I can keep that up for a long time. npub1pnezh0yfeksv8dw85que5yy6utdzsrv64qnfcwd2l35lt0za3hfsgp6p9k Hein Ragas @nprofile…7v9l I can't concentrate on my work if I go faster than 1,5 km/h.
