Um abends in den spiegel schauen zu können klingt nicht gut. Dann kommt es ja vom Druck den man sich selbst macht. In meinem Fall kam es davon dass es mich mehr erfüllt wenn ich mehr schaffe. Aber ich verstehe was du meinst.

Probably would have been replaced by newer better current evolutionary step. But this is where I see the problem. Evolution is a process of tiny incremental steps of random mutations that validate their existence by giving an advantage in survival. Whenever creationists confront evolutionists with complex mechanisms in nature and ask how that could possibly come from random mutations the evolutionist would answer: it started as something really rudimentary and over billions of years it added little additional steps until it became the complex thing it is now. I have heard that argument about the eye. The evolutionists say that it started at the very beginning when the first life forms were just multicellular organisms and some cells would randomly mutate to be photo sensitive and therefore provide an advantage in survival and from there on more and more complex organs would be built until we arrived at the eye. And so far that makes sense but if you try to apply that to every complex system that exists in nature you will always struggle to find a sensible first step that would survive on its own and can from there go on to become the thing we see today.

Yes to me it did too for a long time. But then there are animals for which you can not see an in-between step to their current form. So either they randomly mutated right into the niche they are filling right now or someone designed them to be just the way they are right now.

What I don't believe in evolution theory is that it is purely random and every living thing is just a product of a chain of random mutations. I find it more plausible that there is a guiding power behind it. The thing that Rupert Sheldrake calls the Morphogenetic field. Religious people just call it God.
