Earlier this month we asked for 20 people to join our Pixelfed for Android Play Store beta.
Invites will be rolling out very soon, and after a successful review, it will be available for all on the Google Play Store!

P.S - We know threads federation isn't for everyone
If your Pixelfed server hasn't blocked threads, you can use a domain block to block them yourself by going to the Settings -> Privacy and Domain Blocks page!

We want to clarify some recent allegations regarding Threads hiding posts containing "pixelfed"
Several users pointed out they were unable to reproduce this, leading us to believe it was a glitch.
We're happy to see Threads open up federation, and look forward to working together to build a better fediverse.
