Did not realise the #xteinkx4 came preloaded with all the 4 Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature - which my school used to force us to read abridged versions during the holidays; I never did so, failed all the tests afterwards. But I read a Dream of Red Mansions (3rd in the list in pic) - unabridged and in 文言文 and was sorely disappointed to find that school had no intent to make us read this scintillating book.

Probably more I am not actively keeping track of them. They have started allowing each other’s users piggyback into their markets too.
The Japanese ones are interesting but quite a different driving force propelling them (they seem a bit messy to use too from the little I know)

Fascinating. Unfortunately it is behind a paywall… but if this is about payment wallets have to say countries in Asia are already changing the payments market in the region and way ahead of the American monoliths which have dominated electronic payments the past few decades.

*to be exact, it is a bank account under my name opened with the government. When musuko was an infant the government would deposit money at certain milestones but what you can use the account for is limited, like childcare
