I live in Seattle. I make music. I record music. I bake bread. I read a lot of Science Fiction. I have two cats and I am not too proud to use them in a cheap ploy to get engagement.

Last Notes npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…06lh I believe the remaining Pogues are on record saying they approve of the BBC using “Haggard”. I like your answer a bit better. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen As of this morning turnout in King County for people under 35 years old was less than 12%. If young people don’t vote, we are stuck with the choices of old people — like me. No one should want that. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen #SilentSunday npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…52cn the air is really pretty good right now. Why post a terrible air picture from 2021? npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…yvgr for a long time I thought electric boobs was the correct lyric. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…nsf7 I am playing an outdoor show with my band this afternoon in the sun. Dreading it. I am so bad at tolerating heat. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen The $7.86 billion in CHIPS act money given to Intel last November was a grant. A grant is not an equity purchase. Intel shareholders should be suing the company for giving a ten percent stake i the company away to the federal government in exchange for nothing at all. Even if the stock price does not immediately reflect it, those Intel shareholders just had their stake devalued, by 10%. Because of extortion by the President. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…ysde This seems unlikely. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…5t3w Serious privacy concerns there. To think, I just let mine mingle in the sewers with everyone else’s. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…qqfr Once again, I have some crappy neighbors. The 36th district Democrats has long had an unfilled opening for a PCO in my precinct. I think that no one who would be a member of the 36th district democrats would want to talk to my neighbors about their consistent right-wing voting record. I’m certainly not going door-to-door to encourage these people to vote. I keep hoping they’ll forget. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…fpxc That angel just likes to watch. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…uk4z So I’m guessing these can be found in the Aegean sea? npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…l326 They’re saying don’t eat radioactive shrimp, but it’s not just the shrimp. I recommend not eating any radioactive foods. Shop with a Geiger counter like I do. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…a47a I really wanted to see a moose but did not. I did see a lot of watch out for moose signs. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen I was just in Wasilla Alaska a couple days ago. I looked all over, far and wide, and even from a high elevation vantage point nearby, I could not see Russia. So I think former VP candidate Palin was mistaken about that. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…l326 Unfortunately, not a last word. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen I’m currently dying of old age whole waiting for a table at a breakfast place in Anchorage. May need hospice care soon. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen A view from Hatcher Peak this morning looking south toward the Knik Arm, which leads in to Anchorage. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…a47a @nprofile…rmmx yep npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…a47a Probably not. I fear crowded bookstores. I hear that’s a good shop though, I should try it on an off day in the morning sometime. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…rmmx Looking forward to it. I’m number 21 in line in the Seattle public library system. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…88fj I have been doing a bunch of mastering lately. I find that picking good reference tracks and comparing my results regularly helps me a lot. It has taken a lot of time and different types of projects to start feeling like I might know what I’m doing and not just making things worse. I am constantly concerned about the quality of my ears, the quality of my listening environment, and the quality of my taste in music. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…44qh When I saw your post I recalled reading a story in the Seattle Times about this shop a few years back. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…44qh Maybe check with these repair experts in Bremerton: https://typespec.com/ npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…wjfe Given how that hearing went, this move is probably just about making one court case moot before a ruling against them is issued. Then the game is to continue to harass D.C. with a different tactic forcing a new court case they can try to delay. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen I seriously thought the president was going to try to give Alaska back to Russia today, apparently he isn’t ready to announce that. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…44qh Hurray! npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen One of a large number of bears I saw eating fish in the Brooks river this past week. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…a47a Hell yeah. Copyright matters. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Who started this thing where they write “Sammy” on menus when they mean sandwich, and are they in prison yet? npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…0c9d I’ll recommend a shop on Olive downtown called Cafe Umbria. Great coffee shop, great coffee. They are more of an Italian espresso experience. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…qfke Hilariously I got all the way through the dat privacy survey, and after finishing got a pop-up telling me they put cookies on my phone. 🤦♂️ npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…u9am @nprofile…tpje Is there anyone left at IRS to do anything about it if the did quit paying? npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…gcft I probably paid too much with the fees taxes and shipping included, but I’m happy to have a new box on the way. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…tpje As a lifelong Washington resident, I feel like we have not done enough to include these folks in the life of our state. We could have been providing daily ferry service so they could access the rest of the state, but it’s expensive and we haven’t. It became really obvious during the pandemic that the US offers them close to nothing. They would be better served as Canadians, and I would support that if that’s what they want — and if Canada will take them in. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…ehzc For a hoke news article this is right on the nose. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…args Every state is different, and it’s not easy to do everywhere. Here in Washington for example, we have a constitutional amendment mandating a bipartisan redistricting commission. That was done in the 1980s and it is really tough to amend the constitution in our state. It can’t be done with a referendum. Despite a solid majority in the legislature, Democrats don’t have the votes for an amendment. I’m curious to see how many blue states could even manage to do it. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…a47a I don’t miss this side of the bike commute (I no longer commute), but I kinda do miss it too. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…ppvd This one is in my neighborhood not far away. A lot of North Beach is a tangle of curvy streets shaped to go around the ravines. The wooded area behind Marmount is part of a urban wildlife corridor that helps raccoons and coyotes travel from Golden Gardens to North Beach park and all the way over to Carkeek. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Good job with all the voting #Seattle folks! npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…gcft The accordion auction ended and I am a winner! Anyway now I get to pay shipping and taxes (and probably a mind-numbingly stupid tariff) for an old Hohner Double Ray deLuxe accordion in somewhat dubious condition. Which is exactly what I wanted I guess. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…jhfw Wow, failing to show up for work is being called a crime. That does not sound like the land of the free. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen The only way to get the kind of local elected officials that you want, is to actually vote. Why are King County and Seattle governments the way they are? Here’s why. A lot more old people vote than young people. Full disclosure, I’m an old person. Don’t leave it to people my age, a lot of us suck. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…cqa6 how do I connect my refrigerator to a microwave? That seems like an obvious next move for people with advanced microwave skills. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…a47a Nouhou was trying to stop him and instantly knew it was a stupid move. Lifting your shirt to show a message is an automatic yellow. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Sounders’ Minoungou stupidly gets a 2nd yellow for lifting his jersey and showing what I think was maybe a Jesus message on his undershirt after scoring a goal. Just dumb. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…r4hk 2nd from the right on the bottom row looks a lot like a young Paul Reubens. And he is rockin that hairdo. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…zxkw there were a bunch of those in Seattle back in the 80s. They seem to have dwindled away. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…kvnh I will never give up on bananas. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen I think Ensign Hoshi Sato is the only character who has ever had a good relaxing sexy-time vacation on Risa. Everyone else from Star Fleet runs into trouble. Crummy vacation planet. One star. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…pluq My recycling bin is stuffed. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…s4ym @nprofile…lvpz @nprofile…args The jobs reports come from data collected in surveys sent to employers all over the country. One of the reasons revisions are regularly needed is that many companies return the surveys late, so as more data comes in for prior months they make updates. Some info on the methods they use is here: npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…yqdf I don’t know that I’d want to wish that on JP and Gertrude. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen This independent expenditure fact says a lot about the two main candidates for the Seattle City Council District 9 citywide seat. The incumbent Sara Nelson is being supported by a PAC that gets its funding from the National Association of Realtors. The challenger Dionne Foster is being supported by a PAC that gets its funding from a variety of local labor unions. Please vote, and then vote again in the general election. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…ky6l @nprofile…m8xj Ah yeah I remember that one. I have that in a collection from 1987 which claims to be volume one and which is named for the story “Beyond Lies the Wub”. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…m8xj @nprofile…ky6l That’s it. That story is actually a novel not one of his Short stories. Not a long novel, but a stand alone book for sure. Here’s a picture of my copy. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…vccq Wow I had to stop watching before half time when it was 0-0. What the heck happened? npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen I’m still not a fan f the Leagues cup. open Cup, MLS, and CCL all make sense. This thing proves nothing to anyone as far as I can tell. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…yqdf here’s a raccoon from last night at the backyard bird bath (technically it’s just a bowl of water for any creature that wants it). npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…yqdf we get coyotes n our neighborhood and often hear them in the evening, but I think they aren’t around right now because the raccoons are back and they are usually not around when we have coyote activity. It’s a busy neighborhood here. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Owl news update: it seems it may have been a squirrel the owl ate. There is an agitated squirrel here wailing all about the place at the top of it’s lungs. Now this whole incident just seems sad. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…ysde It’s just like a beautiful diamond, except it hasn’t been squished down yet, and you can light it on fire and give people asthma. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen I woke up this morning at 5am to the sound of two owls having a dispute over a kill — in the tree right outside my bedroom window. I watched. One owl flew off. The other sat in the tree eating for maybe 10 minutes, then it flew off with the mangled remains of what might have been a rabbit. This has been your owl news of the morning. I have no photos. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…y7gk @nprofile…92y4 The report I read suggests a tsunami could hit La Push around 11:35pm tonight. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…tz6x I grew up in the Mount Baker neighborhood in the 70s and 80s and the Hydroplane races were the highlight of the summer for a lot of kids there back in the day. I haven’t been to the races in 30 years now and I don’t feel a need to even follow what’s happening with it. I still do put on my 1977 Oberto pit crew button every year on Seafair Sunday just out of respect for the kid I once was. It’s the one thing from that time that I kept. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…l326 I received an email this week from Reyn Spooner promoting their Christmas themed Hawaiian shirts. It’s still July. It seems like there could be other Hawaiian prints to try to sell me at this time of year. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…fxst I am no expert, but I can read, and based on the HHS website summary explanation of what information is protected it seems like this might be a real issue. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…d2a6 It’s just looting. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Picking individual stocks has repeatedly been shown to be a fool’s errand. Having a chatbot do the picking for you is a fool sending a moron on an errand. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen I played the Open Mic at Conor Byrne Coop tonight. They had a full lineup. Some folks were really good. It’s a good time. They do it every Sunday. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen I have transformed the dining room into a recording space for a few days. The studio is downstairs but this room sounds much better, so I have long cables coming up from the basement. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…phcm Isn’t there still a side street connection to ride (a few blocks long) in Magnolia near the train yard where the trail from the waterfront comes out? Maybe that’s changed I haven’t done that stretch in a while. I used to do it as a daily commute and then ride to the locks for the walk across. The Locks are really pleasant to cross in the morning but less fun on summer afternoons and evenings with the tourist crowds. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen I love this story in the Seattle Times today about the mule teams who work in Olympic National Park. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…jhfw Especially one who has made it clear she wants out. What is this lying criminal being asked to say to get a pardon? Because it’s hard to imagine that isn’t what’s going on here. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen I just saw the latest #Southpark. So happy they made that episode. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…kvnh I find that if I lay out on the couch with some good books, the cats will come sit on me and use their magic cat healing powers. This usually takes a few days to a week to work for a common cold or the flu, but eventually the cats will heal me. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen The Bogachiel river is low on water. Here’s a view up it from the Flapjack campsite area on Monday. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Really, anyone who goes to a Coldplay gets the public humiliation that deserves. I hope this incident scares people off from their shows (but it won’t). I’m usually so full of love for all sorts of musicians, but Coldplay brings out my inner hater. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…n5ap Me right now, double checking that my bluetooth is off. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…09m3 I read that as 9 to the power of h. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…phcm Same. But I find that if I din’t want to cut my hair for a while, wearing hats does a good job of keeping me from looking like a circus clown. Eventually though, I have to take the hat off. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Playing live music. 😎 . Playing live music in the heat of the day in direct sun.🥵. Other than my own inability to handle hot weather though, West Seattle SummerFest was a pretty great local street fair. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…auk2 I can think of a couple local parks I would love to see that grow up in. Of course, planting trees in a city park without permission of the Seattle parks department when no one is looking and in a place where no one will notice until it’s too big to move is completely against the rules and I would never encourage you to do exactly that. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…9hsm I have made a mess of things trying to solder wiring on one of my guitars. Then I had to take it to someone who had skills and charged money and sheepishly ask if they could fix it. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…gcft I have to stop bidding. I’m afraid I might actually win a couple of these. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…gcft The prices are absurd. I’m inclined to bid on some of the diatonic boxes that look like they are essentially free. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Do you need more accordions? npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…cy38 I cook them down with water on medium heat until they become a thick sauce and then strain them to remove any twiggy bits. It’s great on waffles or pancakes — or like I did the other day cover a hunk of salmon with that sauce and bake it. Mostly though, I just eat them fresh by the handful. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen A small batch of salal berries picked from my yard. There are tons more but I like to leave a lot for birds and critters. I picked a bigger batch on Monday, made it into a sauce and cooked sockeye salmon in it. Delicious. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Grok on #X is just an automated version of Musk’s thinking. Sometimes they turn filters on for less offense, and sometimes they turn them off for more, but Grok is essentially just Elon. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…wjfe They must have lost the white-house copyeditor to reduction in force order somewhere along the line. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…kttg There are worse things to worship. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Sounders keeper Stefan Frei suffers scary injury during draw with Columbus npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen Stefan Frei appears to have been badly injured at the end of this game. It’s terrible to see. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…wnnu I have two different types I use for music. Earasers (https://www.earasers.net/) sound really good, and when you buy you can choose how much attenuation you need. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…wq2n Yeah that is a classic. Also thing at the end where Prince just throws his guitar straight up out if frame and walks off stage — and the guitar doesn’t come back down. Superior showmanship. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen @nprofile…veyj That is the garage behind the house at that address. They are selling their garage. Nice garage conversion though. Seems like it would be a better idea as a rental unit. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen So what exactly did Murkowski get for selling out all the Medicaid dependent Alaskans? npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen #gravy is among the strongest adhesives developed by Dow Chemical. npub1q65tv2jgw3d00aes3vee72vypw2zvpj4dcpg6kedxp8vkt4yrv7qj9avl5 Btrinen My cat Rufus will lick every drop of #gravy off his dinner before he starts to eat the chunks.
