So not true!! It’s my favorite of the three, 28 weeks laters is by far the worst. It has a super interesting premise and then half way through they write themselves out of that interesting premise by killing the main emotional conflict (the husband and wife).

Elephant shit in my eyes. A Babylon review:
When the credits rolled, I raced out of the cinema to sit in my car, in solitude, amidst heavy rain fall. I was gathering myself, attempting to collect my thoughts on what I had just watched. Reconciliation was difficult; what was the meaning, what was purposeful, what was it all about?
This movie is thoroughly entertaining, no doubt. There are plenty of original ideas here, throughout. But it took a few moments of silent reflection until it started to click for me; This movie is a "love" letter to Hollywood like many recent films have penned (once upon a time in Hollywood, ((insert Brad Pitt old school Hollywood genre is my fav genre joke here)) mank, Hail cesar etc) but this one is different. Self awareness is turned up to 11, and I think a lot of the on the nose jokes regarding the changing of cinema and its effects on the both the audience and the creators are more than meets the eye (poos and farts and all). And it’s not so much a Love letter and more so a stern mirror being held up to show what exactly this Babylonian city has been built upon so far. Quite compelling upon reflection, maybe I’m dumb and everyone else can click onto this in the moment lol. But truth be told I couldn’t think about this during the film as I was either having too much fun or was confused about what was happening.
To explain that, this film doesn't quite completely knock it out of the park, honestly I don't know that the Tobey Maguire gta side mission was needed in its entirety but eh it was still enjoyable.
The assault on the eyes ending does allow for more speculation on the films meaning in some ways. The ending felt like jazz music in a weird way.
Although Babylon doesn't add too the tower that grows closer to God or further from him, it certainly does reflect on it in a non biased and entertaining and thought provoking way.
This growing tower that uses the format of sound and color, is the best elephant shit I have ever had in my eyes.

The last Jedi is underrated, and people hate it because of group think. It’s one of the most innovative and creative Star Wars movies and Rian Johnson was really trying something different in the middle of a franchise reboot that was chasing money and trend. You can poke holes in any Star Wars movie, but it became cool to poke holes in the Star Wars movies that were deemed okay to poke holes in by the public. The last Jedi isn’t perfect, it does have its objectively bad moments in my opinion, but to say the whole movie is complete shit Is extremely dismissive for some of the cool Star Wars things it gave us like the throne room fight scene.

People can say what they want to say at the end of the day. But if you remove the fluff, this being your attitude is why you had the most popular Bitcoin podcast at an important time I believe. People can pick away at the nits and dispute the small philosophical ideas or argue whether satoshi being known is dangerous or not etc. But the facts remain:
1. There is one way to prove the identity of the pseudonym Satoshi (cryptographically).
2 . Bitcoin is useful.
Personally I feel satoshis identity is moot at this point, which is why every value contributing member of the Bitcoin network could be considered “satoshi”. Because at the end of the day, it’s about carrying the torch. Insert quote about the power of an idea here. As far as I am concerned if the documentary doesn’t finish on a note like this (satoshis identity doesn’t actually matter, it never did). Then it’s probably not worth watching.

I just posted an instagram story, sharing @npub1cn4…3vle talking on cnbc to my followers (friends, family and other folks from previous schools etc). It was actually nerve racking in a way to come out to them as a bitcoiner. But I thought to myself imagine if I hadn’t come across bitcoin yet, I would have wanted someone to tell me about it. Thinking about how the people of 2140 will likely care very little that the last Bitcoin has been mined. An event we speculate a lot about now, will likely feel about as hype as hearing about the anniversary of the discovery of electricity. Some won’t give it a second thought, some will think about their life without it, appreciate the invention for a moment and then go back to taking it for granted. Objection! (This isn’t a trial) but your claim is purely subjective.
I think the movie is still worth seeing in theatres especially if you can see it in 70mm film in an imax.
It’s not for everyone, it is essentially talking for the whole film, but it does provoke a lot of great thought and the setting of a cinema does make you concentrate on the one thing in front of you.
Arguably you will be in the best place to absorb a film in a theatre (fellow audience members willing).

I recall recently (pre nostr) hearing about people finding nyspace cool because you had to do a little bit of coding to make your page look cool, which meant that it wasn’t the easiest thing to setup or customise, and wasn’t the most accessible Platform yet it was extremely popular at one point.
