I’ve been at this for a while, and this is the dumbest “bull run” I’ve ever seen.

For some reason, I just watched a movie called The Gorge on Apple TV. It was the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen, and I’m mad at myself for doing it.

I know, I know. I could have purchased bitcoin, but you have to admit it’s fun.

It’s easy. Just don’t look at the price.

2025-08-14 16:04:04 GMT

Bitcoin has ruined my life. Since I discovered and studied bitcoin, I have:
1. Become a cheap bastard. I don’t want to waste my money on anything else.
2. Lost all interest in hobbies. I exchange my fiat for Sats rather than mindless time suckers.
3. Become inanely boring. I don’t want to talk about anything else.
4. Arrogant. I’m pretty sure I know more about money than most people.
5. Stupidly patient. I just wait for stuff indefinitely.
There is a ton more ways #bitcoin has ruined my life.
How has it ruined yours?

2025-05-27 18:58:48 GMT

I just saw the most convincing, elaborate Bitcoin scam ever:
On the front page of YouTube, a “Live Stream” of Bitcoin 2025 had Michael Saylor onstage saying his company was donating $200mm to promote Bitcoin. All you had to do was scan the QR code on screen, send BTC, and they would send you double back.
It looked and sounded legitimate. The whole thing was AI generated.
Be careful out there.

2025-02-16 20:35:38 GMT

There exists a flaw in the thinking of the drug addict, and it is this: they believe they are going to die a lot sooner than they do.

2025-02-16 04:08:38 GMT

Just like BTC, nostr would be a hell of a lot cooler if it went from .001 to .100 engagement.

2025-02-15 23:37:24 GMT

Guys, Nostr is never gonna work if there isn’t more engagement. Jump in.

2025-02-15 21:11:21 GMT

All these “maxis” out here begging for green God candles aren’t maxis at all. While it’s great for early adopters, it’s terrible for the case of Bitcoin as currency. It that’s what you REALLY want, it can’t be massive candles every day. Bitcoin has to be boring to be useful for anything other than gAiNz.

2025-02-15 20:22:39 GMT

If Bitcoin fulfills its destiny as the global currency, a flatline in the markets is inevitable and, in fact, desirable; it implies stability. Make your money, get your gains, and buy your dips while you can.

2025-02-15 00:00:52 GMT

BTC is the new Netflix.

2025-02-10 03:22:40 GMT

2025-02-09 21:38:17 GMT

This will be, objectively, the worst Super Bowl in history. No one cares about either of these teams, and, if there were a way, most would hope that they both lose.

2025-02-08 23:37:38 GMT

If you don’t find Bitcoin boring, you don’t understand it yet.

2025-02-08 21:28:54 GMT

What if, whatever flag you’re waving, you just automatically went there?

2025-02-06 15:24:40 GMT

Human kind is currently in the middle of building The Beast System. God made man in his image. AI is the effort to make a god in our image. Once upon a time, we sought answers from and worshipped the God who created us. Now, we seek answers from AI. Soon, we will worship it.

WTF is the point of LinkedIn?

2025-01-23 04:03:28 GMT

Donald Trump's decision to buy Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) instead of Bitcoin directly could be influenced by several strategic considerations:
1. **Avoiding Conflict of Interest:** There's speculation that buying WBTC instead of direct Bitcoin purchases might help sidestep potential legal issues related to conflicts of interest or insider trading. Since Trump is associated with a crypto venture (World Liberty Financial), buying Bitcoin directly could raise concerns about his influence on market prices, especially given his previous statements about creating a strategic Bitcoin reserve (SBR). WBTC, being an Ethereum token that represents Bitcoin on the Ethereum blockchain, provides a layer of separation from direct Bitcoin ownership.
2. **Tax Implications:** Buying WBTC might allow Trump to gain exposure to Bitcoin's price movements without immediately triggering a taxable event. Holding Bitcoin directly could lead to capital gains taxes upon sale or transfer, whereas holding WBTC could delay such events until the tokens are unwrapped or sold.
3. **Market Impact:** Purchasing large amounts of Bitcoin could drive its price up due to the demand, especially if done in anticipation of policy changes like an SBR. By buying WBTC, Trump or his associates might aim to accumulate exposure to Bitcoin's price without directly influencing the market in a way that could be perceived as market manipulation or creating immediate price spikes.
4. **Liquidity and Transaction Efficiency:** Wrapped Bitcoin can be traded on Ethereum's decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, potentially offering more liquidity or different trading options compared to direct Bitcoin transactions on traditional exchanges. This might be more convenient or strategic for certain financial maneuvers within the crypto ecosystem.
These reasons suggest a tactical approach to engaging with cryptocurrency markets, focusing on both legal and financial strategy. However, these interpretations are based on the context provided by posts on X and should be considered alongside broader market dynamics and regulatory considerations.
