Hi everyone. Over the past weeks I built an homage to this collection, and I wanted to share it with the people who care about these coins most.
https://blossom.primal.net/dcbc9c0ffbb19bcabc02e18e137fb514bebf53791dadcbc1ac62dd15f258f9b1.mp4
AdjaCENTS is a series of 21 animated works (seven triptychs of three) assembled entirely from the CENTS inscriptions already on chain. Nothing is re-inscribed: each piece is a small renderer plus a table of indices, and every coin is fetched live from the chain while you watch. Close the tab and the clouds disperse; the cents stay exactly where Rutherford left them.
Each triptych treats the coins differently:
- Grid Cents: 625 cents matched by shade to a moving sky
- Merging Cents: neighbouring cents fuse like soap bubbles
- Turning Cents: cents narrow with brightness, as if turning edge-on
- Pressed Cents: bright passages stretch into elongated souvenir pennies
- Cent Slots: bright cents sink into their rows, caught mid-payment
- Half Cents: cents cut in half, sliding side to side with the light
- Quarter Cents: every cell holds a quarter-cent; whole coins reassemble only by chance
A couple of details for this room in particular: the shared palette is 484 cents, a number Lincoln collectors will recognize (the 1909-S VDB mintage), and the series marker rests on a sat mined the evening of November 12th, 2025, the day of the final strike in Philadelphia.
Out of respect for the project, none of it is for sale; the series is held as a collection. However, every work has a downloadable HD video, and each triptych a side-by-side cut, and you are very welcome to post them anywhere cents deserve more eyes. That is exactly what they are for.

Your money is being redesigned.
Programmable. Trackable. Expiring.
Do Not Accumulate imagines where that road ends: a Digital Euro programmed to lose value every month, inscribed permanently on Bitcoin.
https://blossom.primal.net/d50e70ac16109698c2e811976f06e9ebc6c604f51768f2eb3e71b05869abc5ea.jpg
42 imagined CBDC banknotes. Two currencies.
The Digital Euro: 21 editions, each a single self-contained HTML file, fully on-chain, losing one unit of value per month over a 21-month demurrage cycle.
No two editions ever show the same value at once.
https://blossom.primal.net/9eba846287c58b7d7065a461b8ce5c3e4e4e65bd6b69ee087a71eaf077d2d989.jpg
Look closer.
The EU flag becomes an eye watching every transaction.
The clouds dissipate like the value, like legislation drafted behind the public's back.
Twelve stars turn as a clock face …
https://blossom.primal.net/4091945e2ee55660c3d42be2dda0c0336da3b9fe242789eda23cb7e59017475b.jpg
The bill promotes itself.
55 rotating system warnings, 55 ways a currency can be weaponized, each reframed as a feature, convenience, or security.
Confiscation becomes "adjustment". Surveillance becomes "security". Control becomes "participation".

This future is closer than most realize.
The ECB has committed EUR 1.3 billion to the digital euro. First issuance planned by 2029. The preparation phase closed in October 2025: the point of no return.
The public barely registers it.

The critique lives on the system that runs counter to it.
A four-layer recursive architecture on Bitcoin: artist, shared assets, currency, 21 editions. Each note reconstitutes fully on-chain, no external dependencies.
The medium is the argument. #bitcoin
https://blossom.primal.net/e9c418478ed08a41105640be32ec5c6cd8651d9c88c9e0bf6427e300d72b0e04.jpg
Cornerstone editions 1 & 21 sit on rare sats whose blocks were mined on real EU CBDC milestone dates:
· Negative interest rates intro (2014)
· eIDAS 2.0 intro (2024)
· ECB preparation phase close (2025)
The IRL policy timeline, held on-chain beside its imagined consequences.

21 editions. 21 value states. 21 months.
Each a mirror of Bitcoin's hard cap of 21 million.
D.N.A. spells Do Not Accumulate. Demurrage is its inner code.

I’m currently upgrading my tiling tools to work better with vector forms for future pen plotter projects. It’s fascinating how vectors make it possible to harmonize scale and spacing, and how a few small parameters can shift placements just enough to change the whole composition. I already like where this is going.

I wrapped up a new collage today, built from multiple generative studies layered, re-cut, and re-aligned until the seams began to disappear. I’ve been testing how patterns can function like material, while negative space becomes structure: it separates, but it also connects, letting the eye complete what isn’t there.

The holiday season and the end of the year are always good moments to pause and reflect, allowing patterns to surface across longer timelines. Over the past months, I’ve been thinking and writing extensively about contextualizing crypto art, with a particular focus on the role of art-world misfits in its early years, those who operated in the gaps between disciplines, institutions, and economies. Tracing these misalignments has become a way for me to better understand how crypto art found its language, urgency, and resistance to easy classification.

Recently, I’ve been reflecting on cloud surveillance, especially the role of data clouds. My practice often explores the ambiguity between clouds, data, and blockchain, and I find myself drawn to how relentless the collection and monetization of information has become, ranging from copying crypto wallets’ “investment” strategies to triangulating data points that expose real-world identities for taxation or more troubling uses …

I am sharing my newest geometric cloud collage, made from a digitally drawn cloud and photos captured during a walk earlier last week. I created the collage in my hotel room in Toronto during one of those pauses between flights. Two takeoffs last week, four more this week.

I continue my exploration of a dataset I first worked with five years ago, using GANs and style transfers. This time, I’m applying diffusion models to see how far the tools and outcomes have come. Here’s another glimpse into this evolving experiment.

It’s been a deadline-heavy stretch, but I’m slowly returning to my regular rhythm. Sharing a new cloud collage today which I built from sky snapshots I took earlier this week. Always looking up.

PAC: A Century of Charted Devaluation is a generative visualization of systemic monetary erosion over the past 100 years. Loosely abstracting the design of the 1 Dollar bill, the artwork features 100 rectangles. Angled lines in each rectangle represent the annual inflation rate of that year. Ten centred circles, rendered with varying degrees of cloud coverage, illustrate the diminishing purchasing power of the dollar from 1925 onward. Together, these circles form a diagonal line that crosses through the central “1” of the composition and symbolically invalidates the dollar’s original value. As viewers follow the sequence of rectangles, they trace a continuous timeline of the dollar’s declining worth.
The Bitcoin Art Gallery will present this limited-edition print series by The Art of Freedom collective—a visual protest against inflation, expressed through the work of over a dozen Bitcoin artists. The special exhibition will be held at the Bitcoin 2025 Conference in Las Vegas, NV, in May 2025.

As the year comes to a close, I’m wrapping up 2024 with my 103rd flight of the year today. The hundreds of photos and videos captured during these journeys will serve as “raw material” for a new series launching next year. Stay tuned and happy new year!

A few of the pages I am currently stamping. It is funny to think that I am placing thousands of marks and will only see the completed artwork at the exhibition. I can't wait to see and show you.
