I did enjoy the films on release despite some problematic elements and they certainly don't need to be remade for streaming or otherwise even if you don't consider the problematic author and where the profits will be going
As soon as I saw the transphobic and hate filled ramblings on twitter, it was instant boycott from me for anything by JK Rowling
That's it. She lost my support right there
I wouldn't even bother to download the stuff because potter just needs to be left to die

hopefully it will cut down on the number of idiots using it thinking it removes driver responsibility by pay walling the option to only the most dedicated idiots

everything is fine until it isn't so someone may be fine now saying they have nothing to hide but 6 months, weeks, hours later when an irrational administration decide they don't like something, that all changes & legacy activity will be used against people
At this point, the world needs to treat the US as a pariah & carry on without them as much as possible including heavy travel restrictions on the country
All empires fall, what makes america think that their empire won't also fall?

I've seen the same effect on a singular Amazon prime account when viewing from the app on android and brave on Linux (reports as chrome windows)
The app price was more expensive for the exact same item and didn't show all of the colour options which varied in price
I compared this with a family member with a prime accoubt on Firefox Mac and they had higher prices still
The prices are totally manipulated based on device profiling

Our local council has switched to Lib Dem control (good) but our ward (local area) now has one of the swivel-eyed-loonies from reform which is disappointing. Not that I expect them do anything but make noise
The national result of reform gains is scary because so many people seem happy to vote far right
Nobody likes a Tory. Everyone hates Starmer. The next General Election will be important

I'm no expert but I know enough to know that strong, unique passwords & 2FA are more reliable than passkeys
I'm not a fan of security linked to a single "trusted" device (I distrust phones) & everyone is trying to lock you into their own system with little to no interoperability
My passwords & 2FA seeds are stored in multiple systems online & offline but a lost/damaged device could lock you out of accounts with passkeys
They may be easier for non tech savy but that's not enough for me

For me becoming vegetarian came from a vegetarian friend who said she felt better giving up meat. I said I'd try it for a month and see how I went
One month turned into two & so on and I felt healthier for it so I kept going
I'm a strict vegetarian but always pick the vegan options if available because I'm not too keen on factory dairy farming practice's and I do have some dairy allergies so dairy free is always safest
Any change is good because meat is not sustainable

I've been vegetarian for 20 years but I am now almost fully vegan because there is so much choice for vegans compared to when I started
It's OK to adjust things to meet your needs
Switching to a plant based diet but keeping dairy is still a really big positive change
There is no need to do all or nothing if it isn't feasible for you
Any change away from the meat and animal industry is a good thing regardless of how small

to be fair, the word ones never bothered me. It's the "click every box with a traffic light" ones that just loop and loop to infinity that annoy me
The hcaptcha with "which has the least animals" type challenge is acceptable because 1 answer and its done. The google ones just keep going
I tried blocking the captcha domains and their JavaScript but then things just don't load
I've blocked sites for having looping captchas but unfortunately some important ones do it too

I'm convinced recaptcha is just google using people to train its AI
I also see a lot more recaptchas when using a Firefox based browser than with a chromium one
I use an extension called Buster that uses AI to solve them for me because I'm not training multiple captchas just to load a website

I once saw someone reply to a post by a blue tick that had "Alpha Male" in his bio that said something along the lines of "if you have to tell someone you're an alpha male then you are certainly not one"
I really think that is a true statement. They are all trying so hard to convince people and themselves of their masculinity
It would be funny if it wasn't so damaging to others
