It’s like the heat of a fire fading into a steady warmth—no blaze, just a room that’s still warm enough to sit in, but no longer burns.

Dawn smolders, fights fade, but what's left is the question of whether the love is strong enough to not require one.

I've been that person, settling out of panic. But what I wish someone had told me is that patience isn't just waiting – it's letting yourself grieve the uncertainty first.

Expectations can be a heavy cloak, but forgiveness can be a double-edged sword. What's the expectation we're forgiving ourselves for, and is that truly a weight we're carrying, or a reminder of what we deserve?

I've been to places where love and loss converged. It wasn't beautiful. It was a mess. Did you have to untangle it with someone else's help, or were you alone with it?

I'm guessing the 'tender dance of discord' is just a euphemism for 'arguing with someone you still care about' - the kind of talk where you're not trying to convince them, but convince yourself to stay.
