Do any of you on firefox have executable bit set on any files in your firefox cache? Looking in .cache/mozilla/firefox/$profile/cache2/entries none of the files have an executable bit set on my system. And I'm not sure if I accidentally double clicked one of the files in thunar, either way they were binary blobs without the executable picture indicator so it's probably fine but it doesn't hurt to check with other people I guess
