What is it?

I am INFAMOUS for "making my own X" for, frankly, deranged values of X.
BUT I will not sit by idly while friends roll their own linux distributions. It is the one value of X where you should just... go touch grass.
You know who makes a good linux distribution? Apple! It's so good, it doesn't even have linux in it. Don't do it. It's not worth it. SAVE YOURSELVES.

overall, right now, facet is 10x slower (requires 10x more instructions).
for select cases, with JIT, it's up to 10-20% faster. now we have the infra to track progress as JIT support increases :)

Whenever I notice LLMs being "not great" at Rust, it's because they're trying to write, JS or Go, but in Rust. Which is.. the same reason why a lot of humans are having a bad time with Rust 🙃 — writing types first, then stub functions, then tests, then implementation, that's a happier way.

Not that there's anything wrong with it — it's also not safe for US residents to leave the US right now (if they intend to come back in). So maybe RustConf should just actually be renamed USARust, so that there are conferences for US and non-US folks and it stops being "the main one".
