Jolla Phone Tech Specs Summary:
The Jolla Phone will use an unreleased MediaTek Dimensity 7000 series SoC, with details to be announced later. Memory includes 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage from Korean vendors, though global shortages may affect availability. The device supports a wide range of 4G and 5G bands, including LTE FDD/TDD and 5G NR.
The SIM configuration features a single tray with dual nano-SIM slots and a separate microSDXC slot, totaling 3 slots.
For cameras, the phone includes:
- Primary: 50MP Sony IMX766 AF sensor
- Ultrawide: 13MP Sony IMX214 AF sensor
- Front: 32MP Sony IMX616 FF sensor
Community apps like Advanced Camera will improve camera functionality.
The battery is a high-density Silicon Carbon Anode Lithium type, maintaining the same capacity in a slimmer design. This allows the device to be 1-2mm shorter and accommodate the 3-slot SIM tray.

I know you have done some outstanding work on your side to make Android a systeem of the control of your data and ownership.
I think Fairphone has murena as a partner due to its 🇪🇺 roots. If there are shared and common goal, we could think about where we can meet and help each other. But on the other hand competition will drive innovation.
So maybe somewhere in the middle.

I don't know the details of that. Im not a fan of trolling and won't participate in that. I do like free choices. I use e\ os, graphene OS and regular google android on different devices. At the moment I am enthusiastic about this new project and I'm worried about the direction of Android as a whole.
I believe I made a comment earlier to somebody to switch to jolla, because their banking app stopped working but again its about choosing what fits best for your needs.

Well maybe its time for your own device, your own rules. Perhaps its is time for a blueprint of an open source device where you can chose GrapheneOS or SailfishOS or other mobile linux OS.
One thing is for sure, Google will go closed source and with that might put a hold on AOSP android or measures that force you to include some of the codes that prevent your users for chosing the appstore beside the mainstream one.
I'm glad that you found a OEM but keep your options open.

just wondering why there is no feedback, not on socials, not on discord and apparently also email contact is experienced as slow or hard to reach... I know it was a rough time for Jolla and your just a small team. But asign a community manager paid or volunteer. You have the backup if you ask!

Hi Jolla, I have just purchased a pre order ticket. I believe you have a solid product that is ready for reaching privacy minded folks. In sure that your early adopters could help you to push this if they/we get involved to help spread social coverage on different channels.

fairphone 4 is goedkoop en goed en kan je verschillende ROMs opzetten. Geen google pixel nemen voor Graphene omdat Google de bootloader er waarschijnlijk uit gaat gooien. E/ OS is volgens mij ook geschikt voor banking apps maar nog niet zelf getest.
