Partially out of curiosity, I went to the LCBO this morning with the intent of taking my own pictures of the empty shelves there. Other than the “Vintages” section, all the shelves were full: the rest-of-the-world’s products were all spread out, and no empty spaces showed. Visually, it’s been well done, and doesn’t give the impression that we’re ‘missing’ anything.

If I lived in town, I’d absolutely check them out: small gas engines can be so temperamental. I do a total of four driveways, and two of them are on the edge of requiring a tractor. I’d imagine it won’t be too long before a mainstream electric option is available to me.

I’m that neighbour *with* the snowblower. I can’t understand why others with them won’t help out. It’s kinda relaxing using one, uses about $30 of premium gas all winter, and I’d rather do maintenance work on parts that have worn out, not seized up from inactivity. It’s a great way to show that we live in a civilized society. 😁

We just went with the little ramekins filled with the cheapest grape jelly, and the orioles absolutely loved it last spring/summer. We’ve had the large ‘hummingbird’ style and we would only get 1-2 visitors in the early spring, but with the jelly, even more arrived, they had little ones, and they stuck around all summer.
