Last Notes npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I’m ar Överselö Church on the island Selaön in lake Mälaren. There are six runestones here by the church. One of them, Sö 207, mentions travels to England. It has been attributed to the rune carver Balle, though there is no signature. A large part of the inscription is missing, as the left side of the stone has broken off. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W My current consultancy assignment is ending in May, so I’m going to need to find something new from June. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W Waiting for the opening talk at Fosdem. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W @nprofile…px8z I hade never heard if it, but it seems awesome. And now I know for sure I’m not susceptible to photosensitive epileptic seizures. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I cleaned my vintage Parker Duofold fountain pen I bought second hand a few of months ago. The nib is now shining gold. Before cleaning it was so dirty it was hard to tell what metal the nib was made of. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W @nprofile…g7vf I just realized I forgot this one. I will probably get the rest that are still available from their merch store someday. But I hope I won’t start hunting for the rest at vintage record stores… npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W Perks of working at the office. I can listen to my collection of Dropkick Murphys vinyl records. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W @nprofile…nm3g By hand, not even with a hand press? npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I’ve just finished the first day if two of an axe smithing course at Gränsfors Bruk. It’s fun, but very tiring. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I got my TWSBI Eco Serpentine Bronze fountain pen with a Stub 1.1 nib today. I haven’t had time to try it out much yet, but I’ve filled it with ink. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I've finished following chapter five of the Ray Tracer Challenge book from Pragmatic Programmer. I can finally generate a ray traced circle. I'm writing it in Rust and displaying the image using Macroquad. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I’ve bought a Tomoe River paper notebook, with a leather cover, and my latest fountain pen, a Kaweco Sport Ruby with a broad nib. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I spent some time yesterday adding information about my book Game Development in Rust with Macroquad to a bunch of different places. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I've added a call to action box on how to buy the print version of my book Game Development in Rust with Macroquad on the homepage. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I bought two Raku/Perl 6 books for an unknown reason and had to carry them with me all day. They were very cheap, but I doubt that I’ll ever read them. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I just made it into the Rust for Linux talk. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I made a quick stop at the Firefly Zero booth to try out the hardware prototype of the console. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I’m going to the Fosdem open source conference in Brussels for the first time this year! There’s a crazy amount of talks so it will be hard to decide what to see. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W These are my red fountain pen inks from Diamine. They are Crimson, Writer’s Blood, Oxblood and Red Dragon. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W I bought a new fountain pen recently, a Parker IM Premium Pearl with a fine nib. I really like it. It is a bit thicker and heavier than the Sonnet, which feels much better. I also prefer the thinner nib. npub1sauc2als2rpgrek6py858dpfsha9srsjeed5ufy4p2tcnzyt8nlsqhslm0 Lord Doctor Olle W @npub1xn9…xx39 Jag borde egentligen studera i helgen…
