That was a cool idea but send to lead to a non secure site now. I don't recommend tapping on this link, I'm just curious. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Can someone send me a quick, easy way to convert USD to SATs so I can start zapping you all? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I need to try to get my Nostr wallet set back up. I have than on my agenda for the day. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Good morning! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I thought L.A. was a weird place for you to land. I'll look at my calendar for later Oct. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher You're back in the States? Send me your agenda. Maybe I can make a meet up happen this time. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher That's neat. I've heard of these recently but have not yet been to a self-serve taproom enjoy! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Great way to end a crazy week. Local brew and a backyard fire. 🤙 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Nostr has just about everything. Is someone building a NostrOS Mobile Phone yet? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Good morning npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher GM! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I need to hear that one today. I'm moving forward on something but not as fast as another person would like. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Why a new one? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher It seems, looking through my feed here, that the users of #Nostr are more likely to embrace #AI than users of the fediverse. I just find that interesting. Also, if one were to look at using AI on a more regular basis, which one is least likely to abuse #personalprivacy? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I took this screenshot a few years ago. I needed this. A reminder that it's ok not to be normal... Because I ain't normal. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Still hope this is coming. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher If Nostr could implement the Privacy Groups feature of Hubzilla, I think it could easily be the Fediverse 2.0.... Or maybe 3.0 or whatever an upgrade would be. This feature is literally the only thing holding me back. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher 311 in the ears tonight. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Zaptok looks really cool but I wonder why it thinks I'm always on cellular even when I'm on Wi-Fi. 🤔 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher That looks so cool! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher When I first joined the Fediverse many years ago, most of my timeline was filled with people trying to understand how to use it or troubleshoot issues they were having. Not very many posts about interesting things. Fast forward to today and 90% of my noster timeline is people trying to understand it or troubleshooting issues that they have with it. Just an observation. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher It's a great night for a backyard fire. https://video.nostr.build/d5e76f4cd9575c58f222a596ab0a03f9620c262dec4955689eebf1fb8d7886dc.mp4 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher What is your Friendica account? I would like to follow that if you don't mind sharing. I self host a few two-user instances, all ending with the domain talesofmy.life npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher This is a local beer, found in the St. Louis area. But nearly all breweries are making a pumpkin beer so you could find something local to you. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Mondays are always long for me. But hey, I made it home after a long day's work. Now to partake in a O'Fallon Pumpkin Beer. Cheers! 🍺🍻🍺And good night. Oh, and my Alby Hub is broken... So I need to get that fixed up. That's a problem for another day. 😉 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Good evening, y'all. I took the top of the Jeep for the first time. I couldn't ever be confident it wouldn't rain for an extended period of time and I haven't bought a soft top yet. Nor do I have a garage. It's not supposed to rain for a week. I cruised around the whole county today. It was a blast. Skillet playing loud. There's something freeing about driving around with the wind blowing all around. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Unfortunately, I can't avoid Facebook completely since so many local entities use it as their main webpage or communication. But when I do go there.....I report as many ads as I can as scams or fraud. 🤣 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher The first 5 days were quite busy, the last half was relaxing, but that drive home was a long one... so I'm trying to rest up from the vacation. 🤣 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Yup. Made it home Sunday around noon. Back to work yesterday. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Will do! Getting out before the tropical rains come npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Last day of vacation. 😭 Tomorrow is a travel day back home. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Ya need a VPN. 😉 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Same! But tomorrow.... starts a 10 day vacation. Woot woot! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Thanks! I actually just figured that out and came back to update my findings. You saying that confirms that. Much appreciated. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Newbie question... accounts have sent me SATs, and I transferred some in... but I have a 0 balance. Why? I have an Alby hub running in my PC and looks to be connected. https://image.nostr.build/f7bf2d8cc1079c88a7102ab7d37a9fa6e4640fb5d4c61c6cf9b04e3e034c1e89.jpg npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Nice! I'm helping a buddy with some tech stuff. It's going to be 95°F here today, so I'll have to mow the yard with a few breaks. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I'll take 2! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher My smartwatch says I need to destress... so I popped open a beer. I wonder what it'd say about that. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Yikes npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Love that! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher 💯 YES! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Runstr? I'm looking this one up soon. Everytime I turn around there is another cool feature built on Nostr. 🤯 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Brew of choice tonight. 4Hands Brewing Company's City Wide American Pale Ale. Brewed in #StLouis #Missouri https://image.nostr.build/f6d5632bfd48f3d20f1f6bf623bfab86e4f58dee2b9282047698cfb11b1fab33.jpg npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Here is another photo from a recent hike at #StarvedRockStatePark. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher The Midwest USA does have some cool stuff to check out. I'm going to share a few photos over the next week or two from a recent hike at #StarvedRockStatePark. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I'm not sure what I did, but Nostr lost my profile picture, banner, some follows, my name, my lightning address.. pretty much defaulted my profile. But my feed still had data. I was fooling around with some things last night, I wonder what I did to cause that. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Good morning. Yes, the time is now. And if I procrastinate.... well, then the time is now again. 😉 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Ok. Tell me more. Can I create a group with the wanted public keys? For example, I want to share a photo only my family or close friends can see which could be roughly 20 people. What is the best way to share that photo and note to those people and not the entire universe. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Not received npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Looks good from here. And I see it from other clients npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I'm here to play with Nostr again. I think the biggest thing missing for me here is audience control. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Look at you being all cool and stuff npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher What's up?!?! 🤙🤙🤙 npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Is this an AI bot? Is this an AI relay? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I haven't been around on a few weeks.... what's up with this Reply Guy always mimicking people's accounts? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Oh true. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher If I wanted to control who sees what posts on Nostr, would I have too run my own relays and only let certain people join the relays? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Thanks! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher It's the weekend! My wife and I will road trip to my son's away soccer game, then meet friends at a college rugby match. Should be a good day! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Good morning! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I'll be headed to my son's away soccer game soon. Then headed to see a college rugby match. Plus a bunch of road hours with wife. Ought to be good. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher ✌️ npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher How does this work? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher What's wrong with suspenders? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Good morning! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I, too, need an answer! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Dude! Where you been?!?! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Love this! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I'm actually using this evening to get some goals on paper. I have all these ideas in my head, but it is time to get serious, so I can have fun. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Happy New Year! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I'm trying to understand the terminology of the crypto world. I feel like I'm talking to my 15 year old son as he puts new meaning to existing words, creates new hip phrases, and talks in acronyms. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher $13 of my $50 disappeared to fees? That seems like a significant loss. Is that fee dependent on how much I'm moving? Is that percentage of loss normal? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Help me understand. I have $50 worth of #Bitcoin in a Coinbase account. I'm trying to move it to the Coinbase Wallet. Why is there a $13 fee and is that normal? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Oh! that's funny! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Here's a sunrise from Illinois yesterday. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Good morning! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Hello! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher So, how does a poor boy get started with cryptocurrency? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher What's the difference between draft cola and fountain soda? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I need some for friends on this place. Who should I follow? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher And I would say.....THANK YOU! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher I must be lucky/unlucky. I have yet to receive any National Alert...... npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher This will likely be my last Samsung phone. The last 2 software updates included the addition of 2 game apps that I did not approve. Makes me wonder what other unapproved items were in that update. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Eeeeek! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Woohoo! npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher @nprofile…t2qt I think maybe I got it set up? How and where do I set up to send or receive Zaps? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher OK..... and how do I do that? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher From a user's standpoint, I don't see much difference between simple Fediverse/ActivityPub projects like Mastodon vs Nostr. The backend is much different. I haven't given up on Nostr. Just pointing out what this Newbie is noticing. npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher So, what the heck are #Zaps ? npub1sfzk6ruywyleey4hrdwnzzqfr2kstpgql8yj65xmxqdy5rcctd0qzljzap Christopher Good evening!
