Sorry I should say it is this way by default but I think you can optionally communicate with relays to display that you tipped someone if you want

You're way too hard on yourself anarkio. You're the 1% of people who actually build and you're prolific at that. Nostril looks like a great start for a web-based Nostr client. It's not even in beta right now. What do people expect from it? 🤷

As of currently Monero tipping on Garnet is completely outside of Nostr (no tipping communication with relays at all) until the community figures out a proper way to do this without hurting user anonymity/privacy (if even possible)
Right now it's basically the same thing as seeing someones Monero address they posted on their profile bio and sending them Monero. Just made slightly more convenient.
It does still need a lot of tidying up though so please comment on the bounty page or github with issues you experience please.
