After teasing the collaboration yesterday, the two brands have revealed that a set based on the duo’s iconic pyramid stage from their 2007 Alive tour is in development. The partnership will span ‘products, content, and brand experiences’, with more announcements promised for 2027. There is no word yet on the set’s price, piece count or release date, and the final design has yet to be revealed. However, we do know that the project began as a LEGO Ideas submission by RobotRock, a Luxembourgish father-and-son duo. Their design originally won the LEGO Ideas Music to Our Ears challenge in 2025, but did not become an official set at the time. In March 2025, the submission reached the required 10,000 votes as a standalone LEGO Ideas project, paving the way for its eventual release. RobotRock's original design Patrick Harboun, the father behind the submission, said the project began as a creative escape during lockdown with his son. “We never dared imagine it would take off in this way,” he explained. “Watching our passion project become part of an official collaboration is an incredible experience.” The pyramid stage is just the beginning, though, with the LEGO Group and Daft Punk planning to bring the duo’s world into the LEGO universe through a wider collaboration. Julia Goldin, Chief Product and Marketing Officer at the LEGO Group, said the partnership would grow on the shared appeal of both brands. “We’re excited to build on these foundations to reimagine the Daft Punk legacy in a fresh and unexpected way,” she said, describing the collaboration as ‘creative’ and ‘made for fans ready to lose themselves to play’. Daft Punk Creative Director Cédric Hervet also highlighted the importance of the fan-designed pyramid stage, calling it one of the duo’s most recognisable visual creations. To mark the announcement, the two brands have unveiled a film featuring Daft Punk minifigures, soundtracked by ‘Voyager’ from 2001’s Discovery and ‘Human After All’, the title track from the duo’s 2005 album. The film follows the pair as they chase a holographic red LEGO brick through a mysterious landscape before arriving at a brick-built console. Fans will have to wait for more details before they can build the iconic concert setup for themselves. In the meantime, there are plenty of other ways to add music to your LEGO collection, including the LEGO Group’s Olivia Rodrigo sets, such as 43028 Olivia Rodrigo’s Vinyl and 43030 Olivia Rodrigo’s Secret Storage, both available now.
