But just based on my own experience with bots on sites like Insta - and I see tons - I do wonder what percentage of this might be bot driven.

They opened with Plainsong at one of the shows I went to and that same night I think they played 80% of the album. It was pretty awesome. That was circa like 2003ish??

I never had either but my current home has it on the thermostat and I'm glad it does bc it's not something I've ever even though about before and our levels were so high.
Mine was 3k but I got it on a deal and it was also a couple years ago so I wouldn't be shocked if it's like 5k now.
Expensive but it works. We're routinely under 50% now and in the safe zone. Sometimes we get as low as 30% but most of the time we're in the 40s. Big difference from where we were.

I'll tell people this too - many new home builds, especially on or near coasts - aren't built to withstand our changing climate. The humidity in my house was very high - some days pushing 70%. Normal levels are usually considered 50% or less.
High humidity by itself can be a mold risk factor.
So I had to invest in a whole home dehumidifier. Hated to spend so much money on something I shouldn't even have needed but, as noted in the story, it's better than paying for mold cleaning.

Funny I don't recall any collective religious outrage about the murder of Hortman in Minnesota in her home. That's weird.
Don't seem to ever notice any religious outrage when kids are murdered in schools. That one happens often, too. That's weird.
It's also odd that any person who truly loves Jesus would want as many people as possible to get as many guns as they can. That's weird.

More & more young people are going into debt bc of concert tickets.
I feel bad for this generation. When I was young I was able to go to many concerts w/o being saddled w debt bc prices were reasonable. Some of the biggest shows today avg near or over $300 /show.
My advice to young people would be to understand that those FOMO Insta reels you see come w/ a real price.
That & debt is dumb.

@npub17vj…g088 this is better than the USA where we're sure to roll out AR 15s, Big Macs, and Cybertrucks for our next opening ceremonies.

@npub1ahq…wjwd I want to feel like he felt too much humiliation from that old Trump tweet resurfacing but the truth is it's probably that Liberals hate him so fucking much his car company is bleeding profits.

Has anyone found an efficient way to find new Threads accounts on here? So far it's basically down to me seeing when current Threads accounts I follow RT other Threads accounts.
Which is nice, but I'm hoping to follow more diverse accounts, not a million accounts that are more or less the same content.
Any luck?
If you hate Threads or don't want to see Threads accounts here in Masto...... I don't give a fuck. I'm not asking for a debate.
You can kindly ignore the post. Thx.

Never in my life have I ever witnessed Democrats or famous Democratic supporters ever come together to .... unify the party.... or fight a Republican agenda .....or work to do ANYTHING that would actually make a difference in our lives ..... with such focused dedication as they are currently trying to dump a successful and standing President four months until election day.
It's horrifying and so very disappointing.
If they had HALF of this motivation to push a Progressive agenda ....

Here's some interesting (sad) updated numbers on Texas voters. A thread.
Texas is expected to pass 18mm registered voters this year. That's about a million more than 2020. 11mm voted in the last Presidential election which amounted to 66% participation of registered voters. Of course, overall, half of Texas didn't vote at all.
Cruz's lead is down to 3 points. This is interesting. 6% are undecided. Allred has made big ground. Allred leads Cruz among women but barely, 46-44.
