I know you’ve probably been through the same and worse. It’s just amazing to me at this stage of the game that people think things are gonna miracle themselves into whatever system.
He’s our IT lead as well. Which is fairly disappointing. We hovered over empty fields for what felt like days while I tried to convince him to just type in his name.
We went on quite the safari of doing everything but using the keyboard. It was amazing.

2025-05-07 04:19:29 GMT

I have to tell this story…
Helping a guy today with a problem (operator, headspace, and timing)
Guy says he can’t enter his name in a field, and it’s impossible and broken, so I walk him through it, perched on his shoulder like an overly caffeinated and aggressive spider monkey with no fucks left to give.
Dude says “see, can’t type my name in.“
I asked him to try and type his name in. Please know I thought it was pretty clear to say type your name in. It seems to imply you use your keyboard.
This goes on for close to 10 minutes.
He’s frustrated, says “what do I do?l
I told him, ”you see how one hand is on your knee, and the other is on the mouse? You need to hover your hands over your keyboard like you’re gonna type out an email. But in this case, just type in your name and then let it cycle.”
He typed in his name…
He. Misspelled. His. Name.
It took an hour and a half to pretty much convince someone to use their keyboard.
Anywho, hope all y’all are doing good. Thank you for coming to my tard talk.

Follow the slope downhill, follow the downward steam on a water source, and scream it’s the jews as a last ditch effort. One of the three will inevitably get you back to civilization (for better or worse)

Let’s get back to what really matters.
Ice cold takes and terrible opinions about food.

I knew a guy who was playing golf one time and put the ball in his mouth to clean it (I know nothing about golf, but I guess everyone likes clean balls). He wound up on the ground foaming at the mouth and flooping around, and was in the hospital for a few days.
Guy was weird.
