The walk from my apt to the clubhouse is .2 mile, don't know if that will be doable at first, but luckily my complex is small and isolated, so there isn't much traffic. I'd like to get it done via robotic surgery in a mini thoracotomy, but I don't know how much that would cost me.
I'm leaning towards the sternatomy, hoping they can do a hemi sternatomy instead of a full one. I know the recovery sucks, but it's still considered the "gold standard", and if I need a replacement, then TAVR most likely could be done.
After all the imaging is done, I can express my feelings to the drs

They are going to do the testing for TAVR, but I have a bicuspid valve which tends to leakage because of calcification, and higher incidence of afib and the need for a pacemaker to be installed. From what I've read.

Well, I did the dumbest thing possible in my current situation, I decided to check the life expectancy after having an aortic valve replaced, and it's 10-15 years. I mean, it beats the 2-5 years if left untreated, but basically seeing your own motallity like that sucks.

Surgery most likely won't be until Nov. There is testing to be done, then meetings with various drs, then they all get together in a room with me and have a powerpoint presentation with images and measurements and discuss what procedure is best for me and why.

2026-08-04 19:11:45 GMT

Sept 4 is the date for an ultrasound and pulmonary function test
Sept 10 I meet the nurse, consult with the dr, and have a Chest CTA with contrast done.
I'd guess late Sept/early Oct for the surgery. If those are correct, the fall will be my time to recover, and walk around in the nice weather.

GoogleFi uses Tmobile's and US Cellular's networks
As a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), Google Fi is unique because it operates on T-Mobile and UScellular networks without being owned by those companies. Sprint used to contribute to Google Fi, but now it’s fully controlled by T-Mobile. The combination of networks means that Fi can flexibly switch between more cell towers to provide 4G LTE in more places.
