Thanks for sharing your story about being purple pilled. I love nostr, it is hope, just like bitcoin. I got into bitcoin a few years ago and nostr on the bitcoin white paper birthday.
I actually got censored on IG many times for talking about bitcoin. That’s what got me here. It’s wild that it’s a decentralized app, and we don’t have to use the same app to see each others posts.
What will come of the internet, value exchange and information exchange with these two protocols?
I know there will at least be memes you can zap, but also really cool and personal content like this. Thanks for sharing Eliza!

Coldcard by coinkite is really great. A little unfriendly.
Blockstream Jade is way more affordable and I think it gives you QR codes to scan, so maybe more user friendly.
I hear passport is pretty good too.

I get that Dan.
I think we could get less bitcoiners on here and maybe some no coiners just because it’s more censorship resistant.
That might appeal to those being deplatformed or that care about censorship resistants.
But how do we purple pill the average person that doesn’t care?
Even my btc friends have a hard time and pushback against Nostr, the protocol aspect goes over their heads.
They just think it’s an app.

Taproot assets especially with LUSD could be world changing in a decade, Im not seeing any Taro stuff yet on any wallets or apps, I was waiting for it, but I guess it will take time to get integrated into the ecosystem.
I don’t think we need the shitcoins but they will be made.
I’m curious about the mechanism of holding L-USD and how does it hold value.
I can only imagine an algorithmic way, or some similar way to Circle in holding TBills.

Well it does right? Or miners wouldn’t be mining it. It’s very low inflation and will get lower and lower till there is none. It has lower inflation than gold. And will continue to be more and more scarce over time.

#Bitcoin is HOPE for me, it allows me to think of a better future, where I may have similar opportunities as my Grandparents had.
If I think I’m terms of fiat, I don’t see how I can get married, or buy a home, or give children a good life.
Even if it doesn’t live up to the hype that a lot of number go up types go on about.
It gives me hope. And that’s a beautiful thing.
#Nostr gives me hope for a freer internet, a place that you can be yourself and not worry what “The Great Server in The Sky” thinks about your post. Flagging an opinion as misinformation, or a comment about bitcoin as spam.
Together #nostr #btc #lightning and #zaps create a world worth celebrating again, giving reverence to a higher power, and a way to think in long terms.
More people will see it soon!
