What is point of being human? Isn't it an animalistic existence ? Whats the point of going to Mars ? It means evolution path is not outside. It should have been within . That wud have raised levels of wisdom , consciousness so much that genocide like this would be unthinkable in this era! Whats the point of intelligence if outcome is cowardice and animalistic existence ?

Wisdom is not about predicting where humanity will be in two hundred years; it is about having the character and self-awareness to act with integrity and clarity in the present moment.

Why Wisdom is Superior to Power and Intelligence
In the Buddha's teachings, standard intelligence (intellect) can easily be weaponized or fooled if it is not guided by spiritual wisdom.
The Trap of Ego: High intelligence without wisdom often leads to a massive ego. The Buddha taught that the ego creates a false sense of "self" that seeks constant validation. This makes highly intelligent people incredibly vulnerable to flattery and manipulation by those who know how to feed their ego.
The Muddy Mirror: The Buddha compared a mind without wisdom to a muddy mirror. You can have the brightest light (intellect), but if the mirror is covered in the mud of desire, attachment, or fear, you will still see a distorted image of reality and make foolish choices in your personal life.
Seeing the Root Cause: Wisdom gives a person the strength to see things as they are, rather than how they want them to be. It allows a person to recognize toxic dynamics, see through deception, and cut off harmful attachments with absolute clarity and calm strength.

2026-07-16 05:44:14 GMT

The Buddha taught that wisdom is the ultimate tool for liberation because it allows a person to see reality exactly as it is, free from delusion, ego, and emotional blindness.
Without wisdom, even the most powerful or intelligent people remain trapped in cycles of suffering, bad decisions, and manipulation.

2026-07-15 09:40:14 GMT

When we value ourselves from within, we no longer depend on others to validate our worth. This internal strength and self-approval is the true definition of self-respect.

True love is a two way street

2026-06-19 04:21:38 GMT

Acharya Prashant : you cannot truly "love" if you remain identified merely as a physical entity. If you consider yourself just the body, your attachments and desires are reduced to nothing more than the consumption and destruction of external objects, since the physical form can only experience pleasure or attraction.
