I don't have a more eloquent explanation that Codeberg's own post, but I do have:
- hours spent defending my own server instead of creative pursuits.
- legacy GitHub projects where it's no longer worth sifting through slop to find the genuine PRs.
- the alienation of trying to exchange ideas with other developers and realizing I'm talking to a bot.
FOSS in 2026 is miserable, and Codeberg is taking positive action to fix it.

What do we think about Releases on Forgejo / Codeberg as opposed to a CHANGELOG? I worry how they've shifted project metadata out of Git, but they've become the place everyone looks. Is this a norm we should reset as we give up GitHub?

I'll correct mistakes in my blogs and notes, but I do feel a somewhat strong dichotomy between "these were my thoughts on ___ at the time" vs. "this is my Emacs config that I'm constantly tweaking."

The main divide between my published content seems to be points in time vs. living documents, and I should reorganize into /stream and /garden. Wondering if those URIs are timeless enough, or a fleeting trend. I'm already overwhelmed with redirects from prior indecision.

Bridgy Fed is discussing a change to opt-out from Bluesky. This would be great on the Fediverse side, but raises moderation questions for Bluesky users. I accepted these risks the other direction, but by opting in. A recurring challenge with bridges is that content can be bridged more readily than safety controls.
