reminder to change your fucking AC air filter. I just spent all day in an apartment (not mine) wondering why it smelled bad and gave me a sore throat. turns out the filter hadn't been changed in years, was completely black and a straight up biohazard.

the shounen trope where fighters keep their power levels hidden / be "only using 1% of my power" and then slowly reveal their secret techniques is how wars work IRL apparently

@nprofile…a4lr I think what sets this new mech apart is the agility... looking at Megabots vs Suidobashi, I think it is only a matter of time before we get mech battles of that scale that also have modern robot agility. it's going to be nuts

@nprofile…l5m0 @nprofile…d550 all you need to do in comfyui is load up a pre-built workflow. and it helps to study a bit of the AI model architecture to understand the graph if you need to modify it.

^ this is a more traditional GUI that still uses Comfy as a backend. I don't recommend any Forge variants at this point, they are poorly maintained and lagging behind comfy in optimizations and bug fixes.
also try out https://huggingface.co/circlestone-labs/Anima and/or https://civitai.com/models/2385278/animayume. a lot easier and less sloppy than illustrious mixes, real multi-character support, natural language prompting... pic is from animayume with no LORA

the US military may have some recruitment difficulties, but could easily replenish its ranks by offering commuted sentences to the millions of criminals in its penal system in exchange for military service. many would sign up for a chance to steal, rape and murder with abandon on uncle sam's dime. while this lawlessness might pose a problem for real professional militaries, the US military itself is nothing but a barbarian horde, and this mass of human refuse would fit in perfectly.

@nprofile…mcmj the random people you meet on a trail are appreciators of nature, in touch with their inner peace and solitude, secure about their position in the world. when I'm out in the field taking photos, the randos are the nicest people to talk to. the club joiners are desperate to "network" and view their activities as a means to a material end. this does depend on the kind of club. community basketball or soccer for example is different.

2026-02-28 23:01:04 GMT

@nprofile…mcmj one of the many pitfalls of the boomer "join a club" advice. the people in these clubs are the dregs of society. I met up with a running club and it turned out to have Israeli death squad veterans in it 🤷

corporate jobs genuinely do take your soul. working in government and as a corpo has made me 10x more pessimistic about everything bc I learned how the game is played and am also guilty of playing it. the j*deo-satanic pedo nwo is the only possible outcome of allowing our lives to be organized by corporations.
