The tidal pull of the USA/European welfare state and ports border policies yielded protest (Central American in my recollection) from nations affected by the transit of illegals through their nations. Morocco has certainly suffered from the masses moving into North Africa.
The events of the past few days have ripped the Overton window open. The dialogue on migration has shifted suddenly.

This is the trap. Initial info dismissed as false by media knowing the opposite is true. I expect further revelations that will disembowel the MSM.

Everything else is style. Trump is going to show people what winning a war can do, if the goal is a great deal for everyone, previous belligerents included. Ubiquitous adoption of the Abraham Accords will be a bit after July 4th, I reckon. It will require its own momentous day for its international context to properly shine in history.

The crime of nuclear proliferation for private gain against the interests of MANY sovereign nations and peoples is going to break new ground, legally speaking. Broaching the subject allows the introduction of similarly heinous crimes, including the biological. All of this will intersect with academia, media, bureaucracy, military, etc. The great kleptocracy cheerfully committed crimes against humanity for which there has never been a prosecution.

2. Samples of the nuclear dust are proven to be of unmistakable origin, and that Iran's possession of such connects directly to USA deep state players at multiple levels, Obama and Clinton included. Trump may frame this all as him cleaning up the USA's own messes, a genuinely interesting legal imperative to raise, I reckon.

Try this scenario on for size:
By or before July 4, 2026, Trump announces to the world two things, likely separated by a modest amount of time:
1. The USA and Iran have a plan for the neutralisation of the refined uranium. A possibility here is that this will come with Trump's stated ambition of a near universal regional adoption of the Abraham Accords, Iran included. But this historical enormity is secondary to my scenario.

I think just putting in a new PM will not do it. Labor is in a collapse of epic proportions and shifting deck chairs won't do it.
Elections must be no farther apart than five years, but can be called at any time by the PM.
The survival of the party is involved, so Starmer is at the mercy of his cadre.

2026-05-17 00:03:05 GMT

What are people thinking?
Starmer resigns and a snap election is scheduled?
Or do they prop up a replacement stiff to take the beating until their inevitable resignation?

2026-05-14 00:49:09 GMT

So, the most likely explanation is a poor or stressed typist being given the job of formatting the lawyer's work for submission, and their errors in the header eluded them and the signatories. This does shine a harsh light on the team producing this document, but it is really merely shoddy.
But there is a possibility, based upon my assessment of just how well these errors were placed, that someone in that team is a little fed up.

By placing two misspellings behind the capital letter of a proper noun, I would also presume that this enhances the tendency to automatically register a slightly scrambled word as being properly read.

2/?
Only in the formatted header, presumably something that is done by a paralegal, cut and paste, etc., do we see errors, both of a particular nature.
I think we have seen examples of words with the first and last letters in their place but with the rest of the letters scrambled. These are easily, and often automatically read as if unscrambled.

If you were in the Democrat machine and had experienced a disillusionment, how would you stick it to them?
It is interesting that within the header, we have two misspellings of proper nouns.
I am certain that the body of the motion, the part written by lawyers and subjected to spellcheck, and likely AI, review as well as several pairs of professional eyeballs. No errors there.

Act too soon, and the gambit fails.
Trump is going to keep uttering his demand, even as he's reasonably sure the Senate will not act (and even if they did it'd be inadequate milquetoast half-measures), and when the last possible moment for executive action to save the nation arrives, he'll act.
If I had to bet on it, I'd wager some time right around the 4th of July, but that is just my personal guess at the moment.

2026-05-03 21:24:11 GMT

13/?
Trump has to be able to argue before SCOTUS in an emergency hearing that the only, the singular, the unavoidable demand for action is his to take at that exact moment in history. He has to be able to prove that the legislature cannot act as a branch of government fast enough to deal with the problem. He has to persuade SCOTUS that the only way to save the Constitution is emergency action that bypasses typical daily procedures, including the extra-constitutional Senate filibuster rule.

2026-05-03 21:24:00 GMT

- reply

12/?
Because the Senate's failure to act is not a riot, because they are not burning down buildings or killing people in the streets, Trump has to wait until the last moment when only decisive action by the President is capable of dealing with a threat that the Senate kicked down the road far enough to make it impossible for any legislative action to save the day. If he acted too soon. SCOTUS would kick it all back to the legislature.

2026-05-03 21:23:51 GMT

- reply

11/?
What I think Trump is doing is pointing out that the Senate is refusing to literally save the nation from an electoral system guaranteed to bring the American Experiment to an unsuccessful end.
I further think that Trump is reasonably confident that Senate leadership will ride that extra-constitutional filibuster straight down the drain.

2026-05-03 21:23:37 GMT

- reply

10/?
Just as we saw with Iran, with riots in various cities, etc., I think we are going to see with Trump a very careful selection of the exact moment to act.
I do not think that Trump really cares that much about the SAVE Act. I am pretty confident that whatever version would get passed would have loopholes, etc., that would leave open far to much wiggle room for dirty politics to continue.

2026-05-03 21:23:15 GMT

- reply

9/?
So, what I think we are seeing from Trump is a repeated series of demands, spoken and in writing, and in a very public manner, to demand the Senate cease an extra-constitutional practice that prevents the legislature from providing remedy for an ongoing existential threat to the nation.
But why, one may ask, has Trump not bulldozed past the filibuster already?

2026-05-03 21:23:03 GMT

- reply

8/?
I'd assert that the Senate's refusal to abandon a rule of their own manufacture, which refusal avoids constitutionally defined practice for that body, and which refusal prevents the passage of legislative means to remedy existentially damaging disorder, as in failure to clean up our diseased election systems, then the President is duty-bound to act to remedy that disorder and recover peaceful order for the nation.

- reply

7/?
Good luck getting some old Senate mummy to put on the adult diaper and take the long late shift at the podium overnight!
When most people think of the Insurrection Act, they imagine riots in the streets. To invoke the Act, the President must utter a demand for the rioters to disperse and can only take action after a refusal to comply.
But the Insurrection Act is not limited to violence in the streets. It may be invoked where disorder existentially threatens the nation.

2026-05-03 21:22:36 GMT

- reply

6/?
In the present instance, the constitutional means by which debate can be maintained in the Senate is ignored. It is not hard to understand why. If the so-called talking filibuster were required, then Senators would have to stay up late maintaining debate in an uninterrupted manner from the podium. They'd have to expend substantial effort. In the age of television, trivial utterances, like reading the phone book, your grandmother's recipes, etc., would be embarrassing.

2026-05-03 21:22:25 GMT

- reply

5/?
Ordinarily, were business to be ticking nicely along, The Senate could invent whatever rules it liked. It could require silly hats at the podium, for example. But if that requirement for silly hats led to paralysis of the legislative branch in terms of fulfilling its constitutional duties, then it could well become a question to be answered by action by the Executive.

2026-05-03 21:22:14 GMT

- reply

4/?
I think Trump is pointing out a key point of failure to perform the duties demanded by the Constitution to maintain peaceful order.
Let us remember that the present form of the filibuster is not a phenomenon laid out or required by the Constitution. While in day-to-day operation it may not be unconstitutional, it is certainly extra-constitutional. It is an invention of the Senate, not of the authors of the Constitution or its Amendments.

2026-05-03 21:22:04 GMT

3/?
We have seen Trump repeatedly demand the termination of the 60 vote form of the filibuster so that Congress can get on with the task of cleaning up elections sufficiently such that the People may have confidence in their results.

2026-05-03 21:21:38 GMT

Terrifyingly, he’s capable of tremendous discombobulation by merely stepping in front of a microphone and blowing whatever minds he chooses.

To discombobulate is to annoy and confuse someone, with a humorous connotation. Let’s imagine that when Trump coined the term, he meant as an effect on people rather than equipment. This would of course imply that none of their equipment would work either, to which Trump has alluded.

This is far more powerful than people may first think.
Trump controls expenditure. He can declare emergencies. He can direct the military as he desires.
ALL military contractors are subject to his Executive Orders in a way that ordinary companies are not.
The military industrial complex is powerful, but enormously vulnerable to an angry Executive.
Trump just opened up an entirely new front in the war against the deep state.

I see lots of comments regarding the possible cargo/personnel on the seized tanker. People are saying that sending a sub, etc., must mean that there's something or someone of great importance on board.
The most likely explanation to me is simply that Russia was trying to enforce the idea of the legitimacy of the ad hoc reflagging of the vessel.
But that's not very sexy of a headline.

All the best communists wear PataGucci outerwear to signal their true class affiliation while expropriating the middle class.

Can't make this stuff up!

This is genius policy.
Snatch the leader (and his wife).
Tell everyone that you are taking everything back.
Then announce that the way you will enforce it is not to put boots on ground as everyone expected, but instead you will just enforce the same blockade that was used to weaken and ultimately destroy the first guy you snatched.
There’s literally no way for Venezuela to fight against this.

I am seeing a lot of posts on X about pit bulls.
I support the banning of fighting breeds.
But you'll never get rid of them until you eliminate dog fighting.
That's the core of it all.
