Virtue signalling in not worth censoring—the signalling blocks meet consensus rules, there is nothing to reject. However, tomorrow when they start broadcasting signalling blocks with less work, then the miners and the large majority of the nodes on the network will tell you all to fuck off.

This bitcoin tx contains the contiguous data of a GZIP compressed, 3D-printable gun design—content prohibited even in some jurisdictions of the United States. Not only does BIP110 completely fail to address this problem, but Bitcoin Knots even accepts it as a standard tx and will freely relay it.
This is UNACCEPTABLE SPAM that should be prohibited from being included in the blockchain. WHY HAS KNOTS REFUSED TO KEEP US SAFE FROM THIS DANGER!?

Was there serious damage? Or, like train derailments that we suddenly noticed after East Palestine, does this just happen every few days to one of the tens of thousands of barges that go under bridges?

Most 3D printed guns replicate existing manufactured designs. The frame/receiver is printed (which in the US is the only regulated part) and the rest is built with the manufactured parts.
There are several fully home made designs, though. The FGC9 is mostly 3D printed. The remaining metal parts are hardware (screws and springs) or made using 3D printed jigs and tools... even a riffled barrel.
