Although we haven't had livestream chat that can work reliably in any app with integrated payments and social profiles - this is what nostr provides and I hope nostr livestreams + lit tag become the standard for all live podcasts.

Oh sorry to hear that - are you on iOS or Android?
One thing we do know to be an issue is that sometimes if the offline library cache gets too big it can affect offline playback.
In 1.1.16 which just went live today we've introduced a storage manager that lets you view and clear specific offline caches like audio / images / library etc.
Can you try updating to this version, clearing your library cache from the storage settings page, and see if that resolves the issue for you?

In this recent episode of @nprofile…x696 with @nprofile…zx3h - @nprofile…283f talked about one of the first simple changes to Twitter's feed that included a "whilst you were away" feature - which highlighted 8 top posts from people you followed in a recent timeframe, before you get to the chronological feed.
In my view adding this simple change to the way client feeds work would massively increase the value of nostr - as currently there's just too much going on and it's easy to miss valuable posts. The trending section of Primal is great - but I don't believe it serves the same purpose.
Do any clients offer this right now?

Strange coincidence - although I think these bugs have been around for a while we actually discovered them yesterday and have already fixed them for the next version 1.1.13 which should be out later this week.
On video support - we definitely want to add this soon just want to focus on making the audio experience as good as possible first.

On Monday we added a fix for an edge case around new episode syncing where if you had already added an episode manually from the show page without syncing your library, and then added a custom filter tag, the tag would be wiped on the next library sync.
This fix inadvertently broke the syncing of new episodes in some cases.
This issue is now resolved and library syncing should be working normally. Apologies to anyone who experienced the issue.

Both Fountain and Wavlake want V4V Music Playlists to be interoperable between the apps using Nostr.
Discover a playlist on Fountain - listen to it later on Wavlake.
Create a playlist on Wavlake - add a track to it from Fountain.
Spotify / Apple will never do this because app lock-in is part of their business model.

- you can actually log in on web to support podcasts but the library is not yet synced to web - we hope to add this soon
- we do have the apk available to download directly at fountain.fm/apk
- the app is not currently open source but this is something we are strongly considering - would it make a difference to you in terms of choosing it as your main podcast player?
Overall we strongly believe in open podcasting and content distribution via RSS, open payments via Lightning, and open social via Nostr. We are trying our best to bring this to mainstream podcasting but there’s definitely still so much we need to improve.

- streaming sats not working - we have a bug where changing the streaming sats amount on the radio wouldn't work - if you change your streaming sats from the settings page it does - this is already fixed for the next version
- radio back button on android - already fixed for the next version
- following artists and auto-add new tracks - this is definitely something we plan to add
- radio chat reactions - planning to add this very soon along with mentions
- song change messages - we're thinking about the best way to add these so it's compatible with the wider nostr network - we don't want to crowd up the chat with these messages so some more thinking needed
- chat moderation - definitely will add this
- chats from Amethyst not showing up - this seems like a bug I'll do some more testing
- pay to chat in takeover - interesting idea and something we will definitely consider as an option for takeovers
- music genres - definitely something we plan on adding soon
- radio icon on home feed - great idea!
- pay for premium with sats - coming soon!
