Just went for a walk along the River Almond near Edinburgh Airport and saw the bodies of 10 pigeons along a path of only a couple of km. I've never seen this before. Also a couple of pigeons that looked maybe a bit under the weather. Any ideas what could be the cause? A few places with lots of feathers, suggesting not all went without a struggle.

I just made a tea-cosy in the shape of a beehive, for my mum. I adapted an existing hand-knitting pattern because I couldn't find one for machine. Now I have that slightly bereft feeling that one gets after one project finishes and before another starts.

Last night I played a tune called Trollet i skäkten. There was a bit of discussion about it as apparently it is a Swedish tune about a troll being in some part of the yarn preparation process. But no-one was sure which bit. I'm curious now... does anyone know? The tune: http://www.folkwiki.se/Musik/151

Do any #Edinburgh people know whether the Tattoo is operating a drone show this year? This NOTAM has me wondering... "UAS SWARM OPERATING WITHIN 0.25NM RADIUS OF 555655N 0031157W ( EDINBURGH ). SWARM MADE UP OF 100 UAS.MAXIMUM HEIGHT 400FT ABOVE GROUND LEVEL", from https://notaminfo.com/explain?id=2523051

I recently finished knitting a black hoodie for my beloved toy daschund Otto. Otto's character is 'hacker' so the hoodie is embroidered with an incomplete game of 'tic-tac-otto', inspired by the film War Games.

Finally finished knitting wee Tsutsu bear. With his sweater and hat he's now ready to go out into the world.
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tsutsu-bear. Sweater yarn from @npub12vd…86lk (and left over from making a lovely pair of socks).

Had cause to enjoy these 3 cosy items whilst further north last week. The cellular automata wrist warmers made by @npub1e05…ma78 did the trick outside in the cold.
