First Outdoor run with #reticulum #RNode #lora was on the one hand side disappointing but also fascinating.
disappointing: only got like 200m reach, but at the worst conditions to be fair (one sender in my bike pocket the other indoors randomly placed, cycling through the city)
fascinating: a message was successfully send and made its way from phone A via a hotspot from phone B via internet to my server continuing over USB to chirp via Lora just to be hand over by Bluetooth to phone B.

yes, i did exchange mesaages before. and on laptop i also dropped the Route over the now non existant Route.
issue seemed that the Server quickly went over its airtime limit :/

Since i had success with a direct #lora #rnode link before i wantet to step the #reticulum game up by one!
Laptop connected to Server via TCP, Mobile connected to Server via LoRa RNode.
Laptop - full - TCP - Gateway - Server - Infernal - LoRa - full - mobile
No success so far sadly :/ gona let it sit for a while, maybe it fixes it self again. but still a bit annoying. (Server has one hop path to both via the correct medium tho)

SUCCESS! well partially but still. Received a #reticulum message sent via #lora #rnode via my two XIAO ESP32! But only in one direction ... the other does not work, only sees announces but does not get ant messages or recipes.

i did See a microReticulum Firmware for the nrf52 by Giak88, which would be more of a repeater usecase, am i right? but i didnt test it (yet) since i first wanted to have a Gateway + client running ^^'

cool tool!
I know, XIAO is not yet merged full and also not adapted, that's why I wanted to compile and flash my self ^^

Installing #RNode #reticulum on my XIAO nRF52840 ( + #LoRa board) is really troublesome. got the firmware (RNode CE from Dev branch, one commit back) compiled but not uploaded :/ also am a newbe on this field.

Finally got #reticulum Working! Server as (LXMF) Relay/Gateway via #I2P and #Yggdrasil. Phone with #Columba as Client. Yay!
Also got my HeltecV3 flashed with #RNode and even paired with my phone. The later was the hardest part, lol.
Not quite sure what to do now ... probably get some more #LoRa nodes and have a Server-Phone connection via it, besides WiFi?
