We’re experimenting with a new way to share media that’s as decentralized as Nostr itself. Starting soon, you can choose to BitTorrent your uploads! 🚀
How it works:
Social Seeding: When you follow someone, your app will automatically help seed their media while you’re hanging out in the app.
Community Powered: No more total reliance on single media servers. If the community wants to see it, the community hosts it!
The Safety Net: We’ll still provide a temporary server "seed" to get things moving, but once the swarm is healthy, the community takes the reins.
Your Choice: Use your own media server settings as the primary source, with BitTorrent acting as the unstoppable transport layer.
It’s faster, cheaper for creators, and 100% censorship-resistant. Let’s keep the signal alive, together.
