After a day of nostr posting. I turned on my Samiz session and it automatically synchronized with my offline device, which was in sleep move for more than 24h.

This made me double consider to create a rust version for non Android devices. It could actually work with the nostr Meshtastix extension.
A nostr suite with Samiz+Meshtastic creates a parallel nation wide nostr network. How cool is that.

I had in the backlog for @nprofile…ml9t to allow users to create password protected orders. Which can allow to share links with specific people you want to trade with.
I think there is a social part for this we are still not really focusing in, and we basically have all the tools and data in place.
As an example, today I vibe coded a web app to dispkay all NIP-69 orders generated by lnp2pbot and Robosats on clearnet.

Your note starts on your (device 1). If your device finds another (device 2) in range also running @nprofile…yndk, your note will be sent and stored by (device 2).
This action can happen over and over while more devices synchronizes with others via Bluetooth. At some point (Device N) will gain access to the internet and publish all the notes it found while synchronizing with other devices in the wild.
This can also happens the other way around. Notes can find their way to your device while they travel from one device to another viav Bluetooth.

I just realized the 30078 note doesn't necessarily have to be found in a relay, it can be additionally broadcasted to other apps in the device like pokey already does.
That would solve at least the in-device synchronization 🤔 I think I'll give it a try

I have on the radar, but I would lime first to find a good solution to the problem of Pokey being only connected to inbox relays.
I have the exact the same problem with mute list, they are all published to outbiux relays but I can't connect pokey to it because of Android's limitation it would just take most of the bandwidth of allowed WS connections.

The app is functional but certainly not user ready. I just need the help of some good fellas with 2 Android devices at home to see how well the core behaves. The instructions are on the release page and in app's Home page.
Remember it's actually working, so if the devices successfully synchronize you should be able to see the new notes using your favorite client connected to your local relay.
My only intention is to check with how many devices the actual code works. I'm specially interested on old devices, but any device will provide good information.

That's probably because your block list is not available in any of your inbox relays.
The solution aojnda simple, @nprofile…9ak9 should then connect to the outbox relays, but that moves the app to overtake bandwidth connections and don't allow other nostr apps to work. I'm still working on a way to make it possible while taking other apps into consideration

Pokey is actually using the mutelist. The problem is:
- there is asmalll bug where not always a hell thread OP is found
- Pokey only connects to your inbox relays. If your mute list is not there its not going to find it. I try to make Pokey to use a few connections as possible because in Android there is are limitations. I need to think on the best way to manage that.

What kind of metadata? The Mac address is randomizedd on BLE connections and the nostr notes are signed.
About location, every Samiz app will act as a relay for any note available on the local relay so the fact you received a note from device A doesn't means device A is the source, kind of like Tor and LN works.
I'll take a deeper look to Briar anyways thanks 🙂. I already took a look before and as you said the goals are very similar, but Samiz is supposed to support the nostr protocol, which I believe has way more potential than an isolatend platform like Briar.

If Relay1 contains (1,2,,3) and Relay2 contains (3, 4, 5), Negentropy is a protocol to help these 2 relays to synchronize and both endup with (1,2,3,4) in a very efficient way

Some benchmarks of the first version of Samiz's sync code:
Case: 2 devices with 1 different nostr event each
Time from "First seen" to "Devices fully sync": 2.606 secs
Time for a full circle (1 event sent + 1 event received): 0.09 secs
Performance looks great, but:
- There is going to be an extra calculation time when it comes to Negentropy and long lists of events
- This is being tested with both decides on the same room, looks like I'm going to need to touch some grass for testing 😬
I'll work now on the connection to Citrine, which should allow me to stream events once the devices are in sync and still connected.

That's an interesting question. By default, no.
But there is this thing called "Nostr Wallet Connect" which is an order in the form of a nostr note to your node to send a payment.
You should be able to create that note and send it to other devices by using Samiz, IF that note ever reaches the internet and is detected by your node, the Zap should just occur.
