I have made a template to create browser apps for your PC and access them securely on your phone. I have already built a few examples.
The video shows me using the @npub1wnw…95l8 nostr client. Simply clone Iris and run the program; and in a separate terminal, run secureserver. Visit the provided URL (your public ip), go through the authentication process, and you have a local version of Iris running remotely on your phone.
@npub1sn0…jtws works too, but it takes several seconds to load in the remote browser. That is not snort’s fault, so I will work on it.
There is also a pretty cool photo app that turns your PC into a personal cloud, and a Bitcoin wallet that uses your own node. Here is the code to secureserver, with links to the other apps:

Obviously Homelander is Trump. The creators have even said this. In the latest season, a liberal throws a cup at Homelander’s son, so Homelander lasers his head in half. The crowd cheers.
This is a parody of Trump’s comment about shooting someone on 5th Avenue and people would love him.
Homelander has a trial for murder, where he claims self defense. Before the trial, he invites a few of his biggest fans to meet him, and has their heads smashed in with bats.
After he is acquitted for self defense, a new supe named Sister Sage, who is the "smartest person in the world", provokes a riot. Earlier in the show, Sage correctly explained that all democracies fail because the majority are stupid.
They dump the biggest fan’s bodies on the ground during the riot, and when all is settled, their death gives Homelander unconditional support and loyalty.

Paul asked @npub1xap…cnde why the miners cannot currently conspire with Amazon (or Mark Zuckerberg or whoever), and Shinobi has not answered this question. I also asked Shinobi multiple times.
Amazon can bribe miners right now, and it gets easier to do so as miners lose revenue every four years. If we want to stop them from conspiring, we have to incentivize them.

Liquid is a multisig pretending to be a sidechain. 15 people control your coins.
Drivechains are sidechains, chosen by 51% hashrate. They are a promise from the miners that they support these sidechains and will not destroy them in 10 minutes.
There is no reason to put sidechain technology on a fake sidechain and see how it does.
If you want to peg out of Liquid, and the Liquid federation wants to give you your Bitcoin, but 51% of miners do not want you to have your coins, they can censor you. They can censor lightning. They can kill every L2, including drivechains.
BIP300 recognizes this, so it does two things to protect itself:
1. Massive fees to miners. Why would miners kill something that always pays them? They are incentivized to protect the sidechains, make them better, and continue mining L1.
2. Six month peg out. This gives us six months to see if the miners are misbehaving, with a constant warning displayed to the world every 10 minutes.
If using a second layer to Bitcoin is its eventual future for the masses, then there is nothing close to drivechains.
BitVM has similar issues, though it’s MUCH better than lightning, and that is why Super Testnet and Robin still support BIP300.

Choose your OS (you need Linux or Linux VM for zSide)
Extract and enter all the folders, and then make drivechain_launcher-linux-1.2.0.x86_64 executable
Download and run mainchain at the top, wait for it to sync, and then get an address under Receive

Thank you Super Testnet. I have been thinking about this, and I’m running into issues with a multisig setup. Perhaps this is something bitVM is also unable to solve.
If Alice adds funds for collateral and Bob refuses to respond, then Alice loses her collateral and it cost Bob nothing.
We could make it where Alice can get her money back if Bob doesn’t respond. However, if Bob does respond and Alice pays, Bob could use his own private key to take back his part. Now Bob has his 10 BTC + the payment, but Alice is short the payment and only gets her collateral back.
So the incentives are better if it’s all or nothing for both, but Bob can be evil for free. Would bitVM run into the same dilemma?

Okay it’s been updated. I would not use this without collateral because there is no protection. In that case, you are better off trusting a third party or paying cash to a friend.

I’ve been trying to help @npub1nev…jmve. They have built a GUI program that lets you install an upgraded signet version of Bitcoin Core with BIP300. There are also a few sidechains like Thunder and a privacy focused zcash fork.
Paul Sztorc is currently building CUSF, which stands for Core-Untouched Soft Fork. It will allow miners and users to choose future soft forks in an organized manner.

I was hopeful of this too, but unfortunately miners can steal from bitVM. They won’t though, just like they won’t steal from drivechain. @npub1h8n…rpev knows this.
If I’m not mistaken, bitVM sidechains will be superior to Liquid because you only need to trust that one of the 15 is honest. I think it only works if we have OP_CTV though. Right now, bitVM is limited to two parties.
Also, we can have multiple sidechains. So untraceable zcash privacy instead of Liquid’s obfuscated transaction amounts.
BIP300 would give us all of that, but without the multisig and with an interval of time that publicly exposes if the miners are trying to steal. Plus, miners receive the fees. It’s literally proof of work. Privacy and big block scalability secured by L1 and Bitcoin’s massive hashing power

It doesn’t really matter why ordinals people want a soft fork. Bitcoin needs a soft fork or it will never be private p2p digital cash that destroys the central banks. Is this something you want Bitcoin to do?

I see several tools being built, but there doesn’t seem to be anything that stands out. Fedimints are centralized and require lightning, which has its own issues. Liquid is centralized and was never meant to be a proper sidechain. Even their website says real sidechains are not possible yet. Plus they have something called Confidential Transactions, which is much different than private transactions. Privacy offers deniability, and that is essential to protect against $5 wrench attacks. There is a recent pull request to add "Deniability" to Core, but we will probably never see it 😞 I don’t know, maybe I’m missing something.

**Soverynode now supports BIP39 and testnet**
BIP39 mnemonic seed phrases are not compatible with Bitcoin Core, but with Soverynode you can create a mnemonic, import the private keys into your Core wallet, and keep your economical node status.
I have also added an easy -testnet flag if you’d like to try it out. Let me know and I’ll send you some testnet coins.

Edward @npub1sn0…jdv9 gave us all a stern warning, and despite the standing ovation, I don’t think most people understood or cared.
Snowden agrees that Bitcoin is the best tool we have to fight the surveillance state, but "Bitcoin has a privacy problem".
The reason we see talks of ETFs and acceptance from the SEC is BECAUSE Bitcoin is not private.
Snowden says it’s not enough for a few to know best privacy practices. Those who have good OPSEC should use that skill to provide privacy to the masses.
Privacy must be the default.
Notice he doesn’t say we should switch to Monero. Monero is a shitcoin. He says the technology to make decentralized, private payments with Bitcoin exists RIGHT NOW, and the minority of us who truly care about freedom need to pay attention to the discourse and stop asking for permission.
In other words, we have to stop accepting "Bitcoin shouldn’t do that because it might cause legal issues".

URSF is a very new concept, so please excuse my ignorance of it. Do you know what individuals who run nodes would need to do, and what percentage of the nodes would need to do it?
