There's nothing wrong with pursuing a career that is associate with the gender opposite to your sex. You do you, and pursue the career that calls to you, or that makes the most sense to you for other reasons.
If you're a masculine woman or an effeminate man, there's nothing wrong with that either.
The problem is when people try to use authority to force women to be more masculine and men to be more femina in an attempt to eliminate statistical population level differences.

In the old Roman Calendar, March 1st was new years day. September was the seventh month. The first of every month was the day after the new moon, and some years had Undecember as an 11 th month, with January being the 12 th month and February the 13 th month. January 1 st was the day after the first new noon after the winter solstice.
They started skipping Undecember and having January 1 st before the solstice because having 13 months was considered unlucky, and then the whole calender broke. Julius Caesar created the Julian Calender to fix it. It's been modified a few times over the past 2 millennia, and we technically don't use the Julian Calender anymore, but it is basically the same as the one we use.

I think the problem is that you are using terms differently. When you say "queer" you mean am umbrella term which you defined above, but the term is generally used to mean Marcusean Neo-Marxists who use human sexuality as a wedge to attempt the creation of a new proletariat to advancethe socialist revolution.
The way you use the term, you are correct, but I think you would agree that socialists, especially of the Marxist variety, have a history of violently demanding that people play by their rules.

It has a smooth interface and I like the fitters. Right now they are basically saved searches, but I could see plugging in open-source algorithms of the user's choosing. Mostly, I downloaded 4 clients and found myself gravitating to Primal.
I have never used it, but it also has a built in lightning wallet, which I expect is good for new users that find nostr before bitcoin. I think it's custodial, but I'm not sure. Custodial wallets make sense for zaps.

Congratulations on your engagement! Median individual income is about 50k. That corresponds to a monthly take home pay of about 3k/month. If you are very careful, you should be able to live on that in most of the country. I'm in Chicago, and it is doable here, but yes not comfortable. I know someone who does it with slightly less.
To your point, it was much more comfortable to live on three median individual income 5 years ago, and probably even more so 10 years ago. Fiat is terrible.

If I wasn't vaping, I'd still be smoking, and that is probably way worse. I used to have a tone of studies that I'd site to support the argument that it's about as bad for you as drinking coffee, but those were all NIH FDA and OSHA. I don't trust anything from them since covid, so I have no idea what the long term health effects are. They are still almost certainly not as bad as smoking.
The best part about vaping is that you can smoke occasionally, without going back to smoking all the time. Tobacco is awesome, apart from the fact that it kills you.

In IL you have to pass the constitution test both to get into and to graduate high school. If I recall correctly, the 8th grade test was an IL requirement, but the requirement to pass it again in high school was a national requirement.
The iorny being that they mandated that you take a test proving that you understand that they don't have the legal authority to mandate that you take that test.

What exactly do you think his approach is? From what I've seen, he acknowledges that vaccines can be valuable, but it's highly critical of the way that they've been tested since the mid 80s, and cites studies to support his concerns. I'm not sure how that is disagreeing with science.

Yes. Liberalia is the name of the holiday, but it also means "of the free". Philosophia Libralia is the philosophy of the free. When is was imported into English, the Latin ending of 'ia' was dropped, resulting in 'liberal philosophy' and eventually just liberalism.
Also, liberal arts comes from Ars Libralia. Ars is usually translated as art, but I think that is a bit archaic. The meaning is closer to practice, like the practice of medicine. The liberal arts are supposed to be the practices of free people.
