The Spirit doesn't just point you to Jesus or give you his teachings, He actually transmits Christ's risen life into you, so that what was true of him becomes true of you.
Galatians 22 captures it: "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me."

The Biblical God doesn't exist to manage your moods. He confronts you, wounds you, and then heals you on His terms, not yours.

The liberal youths theorized of an optimal commune structure where, instead of a woman being used for sex, she would instead enter into her own dignified "commune" with a man who wanted to have sex with her, where they would have and raise children as symbol of their consent, and the man would work to take care of them, symbolizing his consent, and then society at large would be shaped to support the needs and dignity of multitude of these child rearing "communes". 🤔💭

I didn't read the entire wall of text, but it looks to be a defense of Israel and shaming of "antisemitism". Here's my view:
1. Israel is the elect people of God in Christ Jesus. The modern nation building project in the middle east is attempting to coopt the true Israel of the Bible.
2. All those not in Jesus are going to hell, and all people deserve to be in hell. This includes Jews and every other ethnicity, including whites. You want to be in Jesus.
3. Slurs like "racism" + "antisemitism " etc are progressive bludgeons used to gamify the social contract. The Holocaust has become an ever growing industry completely detached from reality.
4. Jews were most certainly interned and killed in mass by Nazi Germany. It probably qualifies as a genocide. Genocides are not a unique, but common feature of collectivization. The Holocaust, as an ongoing industry, recieves an incredible amount of investment, but it was a relatively small genocide and nowhere near the most atrocious.
5. Man commits genocide because man is a bond servant to sin. Man theatracizes and exaggerates the genocide of their ancestors because man is a bond servant to sin.
6. The Jews and the world need Jesus Christ much more than they need a war on "antisemitism". The same applies to liberal white people defending Netanyahu.

The confession is Peter's only as the mouth that first uttered it; the rock is the Christ he confessed, the keys of binding and loosing are given in the same terms to the whole church in Matthew 18:18, and Augustine's "Peter represents the Church" means the church shares Peter's faith, not that a Roman succession inherits a unique office.

The inspired text is the Greek of Matthew, and that text distinguishes the name from the rock by gender. An Aramaic original, if granted, does not erase the distinction the Spirit fixed in Scripture. First place among the Twelve and personal reception of the keys do not make Peter the foundation. Paul names Christ alone as the foundation, and Peter himself calls Christ the cornerstone. Some fathers call Peter the rock in a qualified sense. Augustine states that the rock is Christ. None of them teach a Roman primacy that anathematizes justification by faith alone. The ancient faith is the apostolic confession of the Son, not a later claim of succession.

2026-10-04 14:54:51 GMT

- reply

No, he said "this rock", referring to the confession. Go get your Bible (if you have one) and follow along:
Matthew 16:15 through 18 reads as follows. He said to them, But who do you say that I am? Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered him, Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
The Greek is su ei Petros, kai epi tautē tē petra oikodomēsō mou tēn ekklēsian. Petros is masculine. Petra and the demonstrative tautē are feminine, so this rock cannot take Peter as its antecedent. It takes the confession the Father has just revealed.
The rest of Scripture fixes that reading. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 3:11 that no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:20 says the household of God is built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.
Peter, in 1 Peter 2:4 through 8, calls Christ the living stone rejected by men but chosen by God, and the cornerstone, and applies to Him the stone of stumbling. Acts 4:11 through 12 has Peter himself declare that Jesus is the stone rejected by the builders which has become the cornerstone, and that there is salvation in no other. The same apostle who received the name therefore points away from himself to Christ as the rock.
The church stands on the confessed Son, not on the confessor.

All Christians are saints.
Christians should love eachother as brothers in Christ, but do not be mistaken: the Bible reveals that our God is a jealous God.
Direct all worship, prayers, requests, confessions, and praise to God alone. This is what the saints want us to do.
The saints are only blessed because of God. Without God, the saints are nothing. They/we are wholly dependent on God, and all religion must be directed at the Trinity.
Period.

The Son of God was never alone. Before Creation He was loving and being loved through the Spirit by the Father.
Presently He sits at His right hand in heaven. All those in the book of lambs (all Christians/saints of past) are with Him in spirit (unbodily) now.
In the new creation, we (all saints) will (bodily) glorify and enjoy Him forever, along with hosts of heaven.

No. Thomas's "gospel" is a gnostic text. Gnosticism is of Satan. 😈
They contradict the apostolic gospel and the canon of Scripture. Gnosticism teaches salvation through secret knowledge and an inner divine spark, but Scripture teaches salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, received by the elect according to God's sovereign decree.
The Gnostic texts were written in the second century, long after the apostles, and were never recognized by the church as inspired. They distort the nature of God, Christ, and man, presenting a dualistic worldview that denies the goodness of creation and the bodily resurrection.

What is "within" fallen man is sin, which condemns, not saves (Jer. 17:9; Mark 7:21–23).
